The company that organized the trip, Blue Cerulean, was extremely attentive to all of my questions, and gave specific, clear instructions.

This is the worse tour company I have ever experienced. It was so hard to book with them to start because it was just 1 person. Then they made suuuuch a big deal over weight. I have traveled allllllllll over the world and never experienced this kind of service. They are rude, they don’t make exceptions, the place is dirty and unsanitary. Whatever you do - DO NOT book with this company. They are truly the worse. They only cater to their own Japanese people which is not right if you are a tour company. Also contacting them is incredibly hard. I had to send multiple messages- which is frustrating when you’re on vacation. I really reiterate DO NOT BOOK with this company.

This was supposed to be a beautiful closing activity for our family trip to Japan, but instead, it became a traumatic and upsetting experience for my husband and children. The way the tour guide treated my husband — in front of our young children and all the other passengers — was nothing short of humiliating and aggressive. All this because he had opened a beer and taken two small sips. If drinking wasn’t allowed, a simple, polite reminder would have been more than enough. Instead, they chose to shame and disrespect him publicly. My children were left in tears and completely shaken by the situation. I was not on the tour myself, but I trusted that my husband and kids would be in good hands. That trust was completely broken. To make things worse, when we raised the issue, the company’s response was to say that the guide only “spoke loudly because of the engine noise” — completely dismissing what actually happened, even though all the passengers witnessed the aggressive behavior. This wasn’t just poor service — it was emotional harm inflicted on a family in a public setting. I strongly advise anyone — especially families — to avoid this company at all costs.
