Come and join us on a snowshoe adventure in Oslomarka! Explore the stunning winter landscapes of Oslomarka with snowshoes on your feet. We will hop aboard the Frognerseteren metro line taking a scenic train ride with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This tour is suitable for everyone, and we are experts is adapting our tours to our guests' ability levels. Our guides will give you all the instructions you need to make sure you're safe and comfortable throughout the tour. We will be with you every step of the way, showing you the best spots and sharing interesting facts about the Norwegian winter traditions and animals that call this place home. Keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and other wildlife as we make our way through the forest. After enjoying the winter forest, we will make our way back to the metro station and finish our trip at Jernbanetorget.

5.00Great experience! The snowshoes honestly felt like flip flops which was interesting. Peter our guide was very friendly and gave us advice for other nearby activities as well. The activity was strenuous and although it was snowing, being bundled up we got hot pretty quickly!

5.00We recently did the snowshoe tour with When in Norway and it was nothing short of amazing! Our guide Linn really made the experience. She was so kind, outgoing, knowledgeable, and helpful! She truly went above and beyond by also giving us recommendations for what to do with the rest of the day (Mathallen & the riverside café were delicious, scenic, and fun btw, so thank you Linn!). It was our favorite day out of our stay in Oslo. Regarding snowshoeing, the trail was scenic, peaceful, and not too difficult. It was the perfect length and the meeting point was easy to find. Highly recommend and would love to go back for another tour with Linn!

5.00Very enjoyable trip with stunning scenery. It was only a 35 minute tram journey from Oslo central station up into the mountains but like another world when we got there. Our guide was Peter and he was great. Spoke perfect English and gave us lots of information on route. Would highly recommend!

5.00We really enjoyed the snow shoeing- Lin was great, good fun and friendly. You can go at your own pace, easy to do if you have never snow shoed and the journey to get to the starting place- Marka I think- was also interesting going through the outskirts of Oslo. A lovely start to our trip to Norway. Thank you.

5.00This was a really unique and enjoyable experience in Oslo. The guides were very friendly and knowledgable and we really lucked out with clear skies and deep powder to trek through in the forest. The only thing missing was a moose or elk sighting. Very happy we did this tour. Highly recommended!

5.00Peter was an amazing guide. A wealth of local knowledge as well as a good amount of overseas travels! The snowshoe hike was beautiful with lots of snow (obviously 😁) around us. Peter was also aware of all of our snowshoeing experiences (almost zero), which ensured that everyone was moving at a good speed without being overwhelmed endurance-wise.

5.00Had a wonderful walk led by Miles. Top guy and very friendly. Explained everything to us. Make sure you have some good shoes, high warm socks and warm pants on :) and eat a little beforehand.
