Explore St. Louis’s oldest neighborhood through spine-chilling true crime stories of notorious gangsters, duels, bank heists, and Prohibition secrets. Walk the historic streets of Soulard, drink in hand, while your expert guide brings headlines of the past to life.
We are out to have fun and resurrect some ghastly stories. Historic Soulard hosts the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the US and for that reason they allow us to play by Mardi Gras rules every day - just ask your bartender for your drink "to go" and bring it with you as we loop around the neighborhood getting a dose of history and entertainment!

Our journey begins and ends in front of the International Taphouse at 1711 S. 9th Street.

This tour was a fun way to spend time with friends, see part of the Soulard neighborhood and learn about people and dramas of the past in the St.Louis area.

This is my second time taking this tour. I went with my family and had to go again to bring my friends. If you want to learn more about St. Louis crime history, this is so fun. We met in front of Molly's and bought some drinks at the bar for the walk around Soulard. There were 9 people in attendance. It lasted about an hour stopping along the way as they relate to the stories. Tim the guide is so passionate, you can feel it as he tells the background while showing records on his iPad bringing the tales to life. The Lincoln/Shields Bloody Island duel was a highlight, but all the stories were really interesting. Great time and highly recommend!

My 15 year old son and I had a great time on this tour. Our guide was great and seemed very knowledgeable. It ended up only being us on the tour but he still gave the tour like we would have if it were a full group. The only thing I would change- add a murder or two and take out some of the historic crime, or shorten some of it to have room.

Great stories of local criminals and duels! Time just flew by. It was a bit rainy, but we walked anyway.

Interesting stories about people, not just a bunch of facts. He even had a lot of pictures to go with the stories.
