River ride is not worth it. You literally see nothing. We enjoyed stopping and Minnehaha Park and driving down Summit Street. Cons- the tour guide. Very full of himself and liked to hear himself talk. Called a guy out on our group because his phone rang. This is where I got mad. We stopped at the Guthrie Building. While listening to him, there was a place that is glass on the floor where you can see below. My daughters were standing on it and wanted a picture. So I took one. The picture wasn’t the greatest, so the laughed. I guess this enraged Doug. Who then came over to us and called us out in front of the whole group. My daughters, myself and the group were confused as to what was going on. He told us he was talking about the falls. Like okay I understand, we were not talking or being loud. I took a picture. We had many people on the touring come up to us and told us how completely disrespectful he was to myself and my daughters. Completely uncalled for. Again, we were not talking, we were taking a picture. Did not disrupt the group. Another person on the tour said they were from Minneapolis and half of what the tour guide said was not correct. I would not recommend this tour, especially if you want a care free experience and not to feel like you are in school and have a test at the end. Everyone must pay attention 100% of the time. No pictures while he’s talking about the falls. This was the first time ever I did not give a tip to the tour guide.

Our guide Doug was awesome. Enjoyed the tour of the city. The Italian lunch spot was delicious. The 90 minute cruise was kind of a waste of an hour and half. Nothing to see but trees on both sides of river. Did get to see several bald eagles which was cool.
