I really enjoyed this English guided tour of the summer festival in Kichijoji! The guide was quite nice and cheerful, who told many interesting stories about Kichijoji, not to mention the festival. The festival was of course very exciting and a unique experience. I enjoyed watching the Japanese drum performance and Bon dance! I also received a 1,000 yen coupon and a beautiful Tenugui as a special gift! I heard this coming weekend, August 3 and 4, Kichinoji has another summer festival at Gessoji Temple. You can join the English guided tour of that festival, too. So I highly recommend you go!
