Wake up early morning in Luxor for a hot air ballooning trip is an amazing experience. A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to the West Bank to enjoy air ballooning riding. Transfer to marine enjoy refreshment breakfast before you take the motor boat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take-off area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum ( Luxor ). The “Balloon Ride” trip departs daily, however confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. The balloon ride takes 45 minutes depending on the weather, before your land again, to catch your pick-up and return to your hotel.

It is considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Its three massive terraces rise above the desert floor and into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.

5.00We were picked up sharp at 4:50AM from our hotel. After a rendezvous with the Sindbad crew in the banks of Nile, we were dropped at the launch site in time for the spectacular site of balloons getting inflated in dawn. We were promptly air lifted and witnessed the sunrise mid air. The views were breathtaking with 25-30 balloons surrounding us. Captain Khaled showed us all the important landmarks and the landing was smooth as butter. Thanks Sindbad team. We paid 90$ PP for this experience via Viator.

5.00Very glad we booked this Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride over Luxor West Bank with Sindbad Balloons. A really great experience and not to be missed if you have the opportunity. The early start (4:30 am pick up from Hotel) was well worth it. We were then taken down to the Nile for our boat trip across to the West Bank (Coffee and Tea provided). Then transferred to our mini bus to await with several other parties for the go ahead to drive to our take off location just as the sun was coming up. What an unforgettable sight awaits you at the balloon take off point with so many balloons at various stages of inflation in the hazy morning sunlight. The actual flight was very enjoyable with our extremely professional balloon pilot / instructor Khaled putting everyone at ease throughout the trip and pointing out the various sites below. A final landing briefing before a perfectly smooth touch down, assisted by the brilliant and hard working ground crew who rush to the landing site (where ever it might be depending on the wind direction!). You are given the chance to leave a tip for the ground crew if you would like. All in all a memorable and unmissable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone, even if you think you'll be scared of heights, you won't be! I'm not great with heights, but felt totally safe at all times. Just enjoy the ride.
