The hot air balloon experience in Luxor was absolutely unforgettable, offering breathtaking views of the Nile, temples, and desert at sunrise. The ride was smooth, well-organized. A warm, sheltered waiting area before takeoff would be a welcome improvement, especially during the cold early-morning hours. Also, make sure you have a warm jacket!

It was a bit confusing at first, because I was picked up in a car and then transferred to another car halfway through but in hindsight, that was all intentional. The balloon takes about 32 people so it’s not an intimate experience but I was put in a section with great gals. We were waiting for liftoff approval for about 90mins outside, and it can be chilly so recommend a sweater. It’s much warmer when the sun comes up and you’re up in the sky. I don’t have all the details but it felt like they decided who was on which balloon based on your hotel. I guess it makes for easy pickup. All to say, I was glad I chose a safe but cheaper package, got the same experience as people that paid more. Highly recommend doing this after you’ve done a tour of Luxor so you know what you’re looking at.

Smooth connection between car and boat transportation. Our guide Hasan was very friendly and helpful with taking pictures. Awesome team work to get the Hot-Air baloon up in the air.

Amazing experience and delivered seamlessly by the entire team. Every part of the morning ran like clockwork -including collection from one of the river cruise ships - and the pilot managed to get us some incredible views of the various temples on Luxor's West Bank. Highly recommend!

Overall great experience. Abdullah and the team were experienced. Felt safe, the ascent and landing were smooth. There were about 16 people in the basket. Only criticism was that they spent a lot of time arranging and rearranging the groups. We were picked up from the hotel around 5 and sat around waiting till 6.45am

Wonderful experience to fly over Luxor West Bank. We watched ancient Egypt structures and sun rises from up in the sky. Hotel pickup was on time and the balloon landing was smooth.
Nice fly experience on the Luxor landscape.

Early wake up but waiting for long time to fly - well cover yourself in December during waiting is cold. Experienced crew nice fly experience of about 45 minutes. I always felt safe it was my first flight in a balloon. In spite we paid for the upgrade to vip balloon, we were squeezed in six into a corner of the basket, with limited possibility to move and take pictures. So I thought I could have saved the cost of upgrade of 10 USD each.

Excellent experience, good arrangement for pickup, old and creepy car though. Half an hour flight over all the temples offering amazing aerial view during sunrise. Need to have good warm clothes for winter months. Need to have physical fitness to get into and out of the basket.
