What To Expect
Valley of the Kings
Terre Des Pharaons representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to discover the West bank of Luxor. Start your day visiting Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. You will visit 3 tombs excluding the Tomb of King Tutankhamun. Move on to enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari, is an ancient Egyptian funerary temple located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor. It was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt, who ruled during the 15th century BCE (approximately 1479-1458 BCE). The Temple of Hatshepsut is considered one of the most remarkable architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. It was designed by Senenmut.

5.00Great tour with Abdel. Abdel is very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our group’s needs/desires. When we expressed surprise at the lines to get into some of the more popular tombs, he showed us tombs that were very impressive, but not as crowded . He even stopped at a mini-market to purchase water for our group. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Hands down the best guide and tour. Mohamed Awad is simply THE BEST. As a trained and studied Egyptologist, his information was on point and he was so very patient. The experience felt very personalized. The pickup and drop off was easy and the vehicle was spacious. He spoke great English and really is passionate about the history. He is also good at listening and reading the room based on the depth and breadth of knowledge or engagement you would like to have. 10/10 would recommend him highly

5.00I had an exellent tour with Mena, they picked me up from my hotel, and then went to the places mentioned on the itinerary, he gave me very good explanations about all the sites/temples with a lot of details, but also told me about the the regions in Egypt in general. During the visits not at any point I felt that he made rush or something, on the contrary he always told me to take my time. Besides that our driver Mustapha Ragab was also very caring, he arrived on time, and drove very safely all the way. In the end I can only recommend going with then because I had very intuitive and safe tour, many thanks !
