5.00we went on the sunrise, hot air balloon ride in Luxor in December with family. There were probably over 40 different companies flying that day. it was very organized even though there were a lot of balloons. It didn’t seem too crowded. They do offer a video which we did purchase since there were seven of us is $25. It’s just OK. I’ve been on balloons in the past where they had drones and those videos were amazing our pilot was great very efficient. That never felt unsafe. It was a beautiful morning to fly. It is a fun way to see the Nile the beautiful grasslands and the Valley of the Queens. The Balloon baskets are very big. They fit 32 people. I prefer a smaller basket of 16, but it was still a nice ride.
Fascinating EGYPT...!! Sublime...!! Mysterious...!! Country very friendly people.

5.00Very impressed with the organisation on this trip. We were collected from our cruise ship and transported to the launch where we waited until it was confirmed that the weather conditions we suitable for the balloon. We watched as multiple balloons were inflated (50 or more) over the launch site until it was our turn. There were 20 passengers in our ballon and the flight experience was wonderful and the pilot communicated well throughout. Great views on the Luxor area and sunrise. Landing was smooth and eventless. Once the balloon was recovered we were transported back to our ship. If you get the chance to do this trip do it!

5.00We absolutely loved the air balloon ride! Do not hesitate and book now! It was a beautiful and memorable experience. Khaled was very kind and helpful and picked us up right on time! Captain Ali is a very experienced pilot. If you have trouble booking online with Hod Hod, send them a WhatsApp, that’s probably the best way to get a hold of them.
