What To Expect
Valley of the Kings
Our Reflections Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel/Nile Cruise by A/C Vehicle in Luxor to explore the West bank. Start with a visit to the famous Valley of the Kings . There are 63 tombs within the valley . The Royal tombs are decorated with Egyptian mythology which gives rise to the beliefs of the period.There are many known kings buried in the valley but of course the most famous being King Tutankhamun.
Temple of Hatshepsut
Then journey onto the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatchepsuit also known as Deir el Bahari .Queen Hatchepsuit meaning Foremost of Noble Ladies was thought to have started the first Trading routes.

5.00We had an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and went into detail about the sights we visited. A stop was made at an alabaster factory, which seems like a tourist trap, but it was low pressure; overall the tour was hassle free, as described, and very enjoyable.

5.00We enjoyed a great full-day tour with Roshdy who was amazing to customize the tour to our needs! We had sufficient time to ask all our questions and to take pictures at all sights. The tour felt relaxed and driver Mohammed did an excellent job, too!

5.00Great tour in Luxor! Thank you to Khaled for showing us around the beautiful, historic city of Luxor. We saw all 132 pillars at the Kharnak Temple with the most decorated hieroglyphics still preserved to this day. Then we saw the tombs at the Valley of the Kings. Once in a lifetime experience to see all of them in person, and especially the mummy of King Tut still at the site to see. Next we saw the Temple of Hatshepsut, which had a very unique design and story behind the 24 year reign of the queen and her competition, Moses III. We met the family of Egypt that is known for the alabaster. Very friendly, nice people. Khaled and his team helped us drive to each individual site and skipped massive lines to make things even faster. 10/10 experience, highly recommend asking for Khaled to be your guide!

4.00The trip sites were amazing and it was truly worth seeing. However, the tour guide whilst a nice guy and very knowledgeable seemed a little like he was going through the motions and getting through it. You get to Valley of the Kings and he tries to sell you some pictures for 600 Egyptian pounds (not worth buying). You then see 3 tombs on the valley of the kings and you only really got interesting facts when you pressed and asked questions. Within the trip they then take you to an alabaster factory where you get shown people making pots etc - but inside they looked like all the other pots from china you see in the shops. They then try and sell you lunch, when we said no we got an offer of half the cost - still said no. The guide then recommended skipping Vallée of the queens as it wasn’t that impressive. We insisted we went. At the final stop the tour guide left us and said he was meeting a friend for lunch and we were driven back by the driver. The sites were a 5, the tour guide was a 3 at best.

5.00Roshdy was our guide and he was amazing. Good sport even during events that caused delays. Without him this tour would not be half what it was. Saw everything we wanted to see with plenty of time to enjoy everything we wanted.

5.00A brilliant trip accompanied by a very knowledgeable guide called Mohsen aca Moss the Boss. Any questions I had he had answers for. Gave us plenty of time for photos and at our own pace. Would highly recommend this tour as it was our first time to Egypt and it gave us a really good insight. Very patient and careful driver as well called Akmed.

5.00Khaled is our guide and was magnificent. His driver was great as well. 2 of us on private tour. No worries for tickets and accommodation. Tour was planned to avoid large crowds. Lunch was very good as well. The high pressure sales people ignored us due to having him as a guide. Felt like fast pass around all the lines.

5.00Great 2 day tour of the the Luxor ancient sites. Door to door private driver, all entry fees included, and private guide. And what a guide! Mohsen “Moss the Boss” delivered a tour to remember. He combined his extensive knowledge with a fun attitude and the day would not have been the same without him. He’s a great photographer too. Highly recommend this tour - and be sure to ask for “Moss the Boss”!
