This experience has adventure stamped all over it. Off-road buggy or safari truck rides, traditional Taino ceremonies and swimming in underground pools. Plus, you’ll enjoy a Dominican dinner and an open bar followed by live music and dancing around a bonfire.
To kick off your all-action evening, you’ll power through the Dominican countryside, watching as the landscape transforms from day to night. Guided by torchlight, you’ll continue your journey to take a swim in a natural cave pool, known as a cenote. If you choose the safari truck option, you’ll also get to visit the eerie depths of Yara Cave.
With flaming torches lighting the way, you’ll get back to base for a well-earned drink and dinner of local cuisine. The restaurant staff pride themselves on creating classic Dominican dishes, freshly prepared with seasonal produce. Rounding off the evening is a traditional Taino dance show and the chance to join in with a boogie around the bonfire or enjoy the open bar under the stars.

This was amazing!! The buggies do get quite dusty so taking the free goggles or upgrading them would be recommended when driving. Definitely bring extra clothes and a towel! It is quite a long trip and very fun!! We then got a history talk with show. The cave show was absolutely the best and coolest part. It is a party scene so if you have young kids, this would not be recommended. The dinner was fantastic and our guide was amazing. They also had a dance show at the end. So so fun!!

We went on this excursion with 2 children 2 years and 5 months old booked through tui rep was told this would be ok to do with kids if not doing buggies we went as a large group with us taking children on safari truck to meet up with the rest of the group at the end of their buggy ride. Absolutely not the case waited in reception area with children till a mini bus took us up to an area where we sat on benches for approx 30 mins then taken to another area with no seating waiting for buggies to return no changing facilities for baby. Then onto a brief tribal dance then to swimming in cave not suitable for young children as a party in the water then onto eating area. To finish the night a party in a small area. Nothing at all for children very hot and lots of partying. The rest of our party enjoyed this but no way suitable for children under the age of 14. This felt like an 18 to 30 excursion avoid avoid if you have young children ended the night exhausted from carrying children around lots of people partying

Sooo I have mixed reviews about this. There weren’t too clear in the description. Which I feel is needed. I paid for the sunset ride BUT we left too early for that part. We only drove the buggy for about 20min then that was done. I paid to drive the buggy. PERIOD. The food provided wasn’t good. But grateful. The cave was cold and hell. But that was the good part of it along with the 20min ride. Everything else. They could’ve kept.
