I had an amazing time with my family experiencing this activity. The tour guide took us down through the fish market, and after which we got to make sashimi which was intuitive and extremely tasty. Would highly recommend to anyone who’d like an interactive cooking experience.

Sushi instructor Ai was very friendly! Also, the knowledge is amazing! If you are looking for a unique fish or cultural explanation of Okinawa, this is the place to go! It's been a great tour, from the explanation of the first floor of the public market to the sushi making experience on the third floor!! We encourage you to join us!

I joined a sushi-making class with my cousins, and we had a lot of fun. It started with a market tour where we learned interesting things about the ingredients locals use. We made sushi and enjoyed eating it together with some sake.

We had a great family experience today and loved everything about the sushi making class! Big recommendation when you’re in Naha. First we visited the fish market and then we learned how to make nigiri sushi. We also got some sake and enjoyed the sushi afterwards. Very nice experience with nice people! :)

Amazing Sushi Cooking Class in Okinawa! We had the best time at this sushi cooking class in Okinawa! Our instructor AI took us around the local fish market and taught us the different names of fish and how to identify which fish are local to Okinawa (fun fact, salmon is not). Then we got to make our own sushi! Ai guided us step-by-step, and the sushi we made was fun and tasted delicious. Seriously, if you’re in Okinawa — it’s an experience you won’t forget! We had a lovely host who served us Mozuku soup (which was yum!) and our instructor AI (which means “love” in Japanese), were both amazing and so kindly shared things with us about Okinawa. It was a true honor to be part, the whole time was absolutely wonderful. We walked away with so much gratitude for that opportunity.
