  • Amazing Experience!

It was an amazing experience and a really well run operation. We were picked up from our hotel at 8 and driven out to the harbor. During this time the team photographer, Hannah, gave a really interesting overview of the history of the town and all the wildlife in the area. It was maybe half an hour ride and then they quickly shuttled us out to the boat. We did a quick snorkel on the reef before getting out to more open water and it didn’t take long for them to locate a whale shark. We were split into two teams and guided by Jack and Jess who did a wonderful job getting everybody in the water and lined up quickly. The whale shark passed right in front of the line and then we get the chance to swim alongside it. He was going nice and slow for us today. Captain Jerry would swing around and pick up each group after a good stretch of swimming. We got to drop in 5 different times. They had lots of snacks, beverages and a surprisingly good lunch on board for us. Ian, who drove the helper boat also did a great job identifying where we needed to be and it all went very smoothly. We loved our experience!

Precision coordination between spotter plane and skipper ensured 3 sightings for 3 dives on our visit. The boat was spacious and extremely well run by the efficient and informative crew.

It was the most amazing experience. The crew were fantastic & so knowledgeable, they also were there to help. They put in so much effort for us to see and experience as much as possible. We saw a whale shark which was the highlight. Also the photos were taken & were sent next day , as part of the package - not forgetting the great food supplied all day. Would highly recommend.

  • Perfect tour. If I can do it – a 58-year-old dad-bod on legs – then literally anyone can. The whale sharks didn’t mind, the dolp

As a 58-year-old, slightly overweight bloke whose swimming style can best be described as “buoyant panic with occasional flailing,” I wasn’t sure how I’d fare on a Ningaloo whale shark tour. But let me tell you, these people had me feeling like an Olympic-level free diver (well… at least in my own head). We were collected bang on time in a very civilized minibus (not the rusty school bus of my nightmares), and given commentary that made me feel smart enough to join a pub quiz team about whale sharks immediately. Then, an easy transfer to the boat – no awkward wobbling down a plank like Captain Jack Sparrow after too much rum but a boat that I didn't fall into The reef boat itself was huge and kitted out with more gear than a Bond film: wetsuits that actually fit, and goggles that didn’t make me look like a startled goldfish. First stop was a reef dive, where I discovered that fish apparently don’t mind middle-aged men huffing and puffing above them like a startled walrus with asthma, infact they even seemed to like it .. so I continued for 5 mins more just for effect, almost exhausting the oxygen in the reef then I settled into an amazing reef snorkel Then came the main event: the whale sharks. Thanks to a spotter plane, we were on them faster than a pensioner spotting a “Buy One Get One Free” sign at Tesco. I swam with not one, but TWO whale sharks – each the size of a bus, but thankfully with better manners. Somewhere in there, dolphins with teeth showed up (something false killer something.. but they seemed to like the boat .. I briefly imagined a “Jaws” remake starring me, but luckily they were friendly and just laughed at my previous breaststroke. Back on the boat, we tucked into a cracking lunch – which was necessary, because trying to keep up with whale sharks really works up an appetite when your main cardio is usually walking to the fridge. We even got a bonus reef dive after, proving I’d somehow survived the first round. The day ended with champagne and beer on the return journey, which is exactly how every man who’s just out-swum his BMI should be celebrated. Hugely recommended tour if I and Bill Bailey can do it so can anyone

We did the Whale shark and Reef snorkel on 18/09/25 we had Sasha, Molly Liv and Benji I believe on the boat with us and they were so informative and helpful. My partner struggling swimming in the currents as he has really bad Asthma and is afraid of the sea😅 so I dragged him along with me to do the tour and Sasha was great he throughly enjoyed the whole experience the food was great and atmosphere would highly recommend this company and adding to that they have a safety boat which is in the water at all times when you are snorkeling which none of the other companies have!

  • Lovely people, fabulous marine life - a great experience.

A genuinely fantastic experience. The crew were all lovely, very friendly and informative. They also managed everyone well, making sure people knew what to do, when and were ready. We saw so many wonderful things - whales, manta rays, turtles (including a huge leatherback), dolphins, a sea snake and so many fish. The food was great and plentiful. What I particularly liked was that it felt like their top concern was the quality of our experience. On the way back to port at the end, there was no rush, we regularly stopped to see whales etc. It didn't feel like they were just trying to clock off. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, the whole experience and atmosphere was wonderful.

We had such a wonderful experience on our humpback whale interaction tour. The entire team was incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. Seeing these magnificent whales up close was unforgettable and truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We also loved that professional photos were included in the ticket price—it’s such a great way to relive the memories. Highly recommended!

The team from 3 Islands are wonderful. They took such good care of us and the experience didn’t disappoint. We went on two tours one with Whale sharks at the end of season and we got to see and swim with quite a few. We also snorkled on Ningaloo reef and while on the tour saw, Mantas, turtles, reef sharks, soldiers s, Humpback Whales, Dugongs and much more. The second trip was a Humpback Whale swim and sight seeing. Again we enjoyed an amazing array of wildlife. The crew were great taking care of us and very knowledgeable about the area and wild life. We will definitely come again. Such precious memories. Thank you to everyone from 3 Islands from the crew, to the office and the spotter plain plane pilot. You all made this one of our most treasured memories and experiences. We will be back

Wow! We swam with the humpbacks twice; you watch them swim past and just observe. Staff worked very hard to make sure we had the best day. They were lovely and very knowledgeable and respectful to the whales. We also saw a manta ray (and swam with it!) and a dugong and a brief glimpse of a hammerhead shark! Plus all the humpbacks breaching and swimming along. Such an amazing experience.
