The lodge was in terrible condition. Our bathroom was dirty, and although a cleaner came daily to make the bed, they never actually cleaned the room. The pool smelled awful and was completely green — clearly neglected. The room also had numerous spider webs, which only added to the overall lack of cleanliness. To make matters worse, we later discovered that we paid double the price compared to another couple who booked offline at a local store — a frustrating revelation given the poor quality of the experience. The guide was able to help us spot animals, but offered very little information about the Amazon unless we asked specific questions. The food was decent, but no snacks were provided as advertised. Even more concerning, two of us got sick on the last day, and we strongly suspect it was due to the food. This isn't just a minor issue — it directly impacted our health and safety. The lodge only has electricity for a few hours a day. This not only made it difficult to charge devices or have light in the early morning or evening, but also affected basic utilities — water flow and hot showers didn’t work properly due to the lack of consistent power. It made an already uncomfortable stay even more frustrating. While the natural setting and some activities had potential, the tour overall was extremely disorganized. We didn’t receive any information in advance about what to pack or expect, yet were still held to those expectations. Unfortunately, this experience felt careless, unsafe, and far from what was promised. We would not recommend it unless major improvements are made across the board.

The jungle itself and the wildlife were unspoiled. We saw so much wildlife, monkeys, kapybaras , wonderful bird life , incredible insects, caiman, turtles and so much more.. The whole environment was so interesting and we learned so much. The lodge itself was very basic. We had only cold water ( I believe other bungalows closer to the main dining area had limited warm water) . However, we signed up for exactly what we got and we were quite happy in this extremely humble environment. The food was plentiful.. Our guide Ivan (maybe Iban .. the Spanish pronunciation made me unsure) was a lovely modest man with great knowledge that he was happy to share. We loved it, but if you expecting a touristy commercial experience.. it isn’t! It also does require a level of agility and fitness to get on and off the boats on to slippy muddy riverbanks . A few of us had a rumple or two. A word of advice would be to pack the right kit for extreme rain, heat, ground conditions

The activities or the programmes are interesting. But the services from the organiser is terrible. E.g..despite 3 times write to the service provider to enquire on the pickup, but no reply.

After 2 weeks in Peru, this was the last activity for us. The experience was amazing, cofortable lodge, good food and we felt safe all the time. The highlight of all our 4 days was our guide Andres. He was very passionate and had lots of knowledge about everything (fauna, flora, insects etc). He made all our tours exeptional.

The excursions and Ewan ( guide) were great, very helpful, knowledgeable and good fun . Food served was delicious ! . Accommodation was poor , hygiene was appalling , smelly bathroom , mould pillows , dirty Matress , it was clear that the lodge was not loved . Didn’t expect such poor cleanliness in a lodge after paying top dollar prices overall . Cheaper packages are available aplenty , but selected this hoping for a clean resting place . Is that too much to ask for ?
