We didn’t want a multi-winery tour with a bus load of people. Thomas picked the four of us in a van and we traveled from Pisa to a small operation outside of Lucca overlooking the Tuscan hills. The multi-generational run winery has been in operation since 1896. The tour of the self-run operation by Julia was great. We sat outside and enjoyed 4 wines and a wonderful charcuterie board and deserts. We highly recommend this tour unless you want to be part of a large crowd without personal attention. Iowa travelers.

Small group, enthusiastic guide, interesting history of a 4th-generation family business. Nice wines, too! The Merlot was a winner. Tasting was done outdoors, with a view of the vineyards and plates of cheese & sausage -- followed by sweets.

It was a truly unique experienced, of how a small vineyard are paasionate about their wine making. How this business thrive through generations. The wines are fermented to perfection. The only downside on the day is the heavy downpour yet with good company it was a pleasant experience. Although a little bit pricey I would recommend it to anyone who would like a small wine tour.

I would definitely recommend this tour. We were picked up as scheduled by the tour guide who was fantastic. He had so much energy and knowledge and was super friendly. The mini bus was modern, clean and had air con. The vineyard was small and family run which meant we really got close up to seeing how it all worked. The location was perfect and we had lunch and tried the different types of wine in the actual vineyard. It was an amazing day!!

We were very happy with our experience at Tenuta Adamo! The tour and tasting was lovely and very informative. The driver was also very friendly and convenient from Pisa. The 3 hour tour is definitely the way to go.

This was a really delightful experince. Tomassi reached out to us before hand to confirm all the details and any food allergies. We met him in Pisa (although I'm sure he could also pick you up in Lucca as well) and he drove us to a small family vineyard talking about the history of the area and history of the this particular vineyard along the way. Once there he gave us a tour of the vineyard, showed us the family olive trees, the beehive, and the vegetable garden on sight. We had young kids and a teen with us and he was wonderful explaining things to them. In addition we had a tour of the casks and explanation about the history of the vineyard and were taken to tables outside and local charcuterie were brought over along with four wines for tasting. Tomassi talked to us a bit before we started to drink and snack and left us alone to spend time to ourselves snacking and trying the wines with the various items on offer. The kids had water and juice to drink. Afterward we purchased a number of bottles to take with us. We enjoyed the tour and the kids did too! Highly recommend.

We could not have had a more amazing afternoon out in the hills above Lucca l. The guys were so knowledgeable and hospitable. Would highly recommend. We even got a list of places to eat sent through after we jumped off the car in Lucca instead of going back to Pisa.

Absolutely wonderful afternoon visit to a beautiful Tuscan Vineyard just outside of Lucca. Visited with my wife and 13 year old daughter. From the start, the whole experience felt very personal and was so much fun. My daughter was also looked after so well and was included in everything we did. All the hosts were absolutely fantastic, very welcoming and knowledgeable. We all had such a laugh together as well. The tasting was excellent and we were treated to plenty of wine and superb food. One of the nicest things about the experience was how personal it all was (there were only 7 people in the group), and we were never rushed. Overall, a fantastic experience and one that i would definitely recommend to anyone.
