Join us for a unique and thrilling experience on a V8 Chevrolet trike as we explore the beautiful Bay of Plenty. Designed and built in New Zealand, our awesome trikes are powered by 5700cc Chevrolet motors. It’s the ultimate in power and excitement. With a low centre of gravity, our trikes provide a smooth ride with an impressive grip around corners.
Suitable for ages 2+ and all abilities including disabled.
Registered as a car with NZTA and not a motorbike therefore seatbelts are compulsory not helmets.
Suitable for age 2+ and all abilities, special needs, disabled or those with mobility issues.
Note: price is per vehicle not per person so a max of 4 people can take the tour

Accessibility friendly facility. As far back as 500BC, Hippocrates recognised the health benefits of warmed seawater to rebalance and detoxify our bodies. Salt water bathing was believed to improve mobility by easing muscle/joint aches and pains. A natural escape in the heart of Mount Maunganui. Soak in our Hot Ocean Water Pools, followed by an onsite massage for ultimate relaxation.

5.00This was the best excursion I have ever been on! Super comfortable & fun. Joe was our driver & we had a running commentary throughout & he was more than happy to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend this! We were very glad we had our jackets on as bit chilly while driving but the with wind blowing through your hair , it was very invigorating!! Cost would have been the same if there were 4 of us riding & considering it was a V8 motor was very reasonable!

5.00Service was great, good communication from time of booking. Our driver Spike drove us around the town and showed us the high lights. Very enjoyable and knowledgeable guide. Was certainly an novel and fun way to see the sights and would highly recommend. Just wish I had booked for longer.

5.00My husband and I took this quick trip around Tauranga with Nigel as our driver. It was fantastic! He knew where to take us in the time available and was very knowledgeable and informative. Stopped us in the right spots for photos and gave us an exhilarating ride . Had a wonderful personality and shared his experiences well. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

5.00Absolutely excellent trike tour. Great communication always. We were so excited to do this. Saw the most spectacular huge tree when our guide took us through a bit of a back street. Turns out that he loves trees too :) Highly recommend V8Trike Tours. If we ever get back to NZ will do a longer one for sure. Thank you for making memories with us.
