We weren't sure what to expect but this turned out to be one of our most favorite things that we did while in Tahiti! Teahupoo is a more remote untouched area "at road's end" and then getting to go on the boat right up to the giant perfect waves and watch them curve around in front of us never touching us was a once in a lifetime adventure. We were lucky to see some surfers that day catching a ride. We also loved the oceanside lunch spot La Plage de Maui where many famous surfers have been. We enjoyed beautiful Vaipahi Gardens on the way back and we had the loveliest local guide that shared history and was happy to answer any questions. The only thing that we were disappointed in was the snorkeling...not many fish.

We were very well received with small coffee and chocolate in the morning, very friendly, smiling, only happiness. Then the day went perfectly, we ate super well. I participated with my children in this great day and we came home full of memories in our heads.

wonderful day getting close to the surfing action and feel of the vibe of the surfing action. Lunch in the logoon was loverly. Our driver was like an angel who went out of her way to show us the way to our accommodation after the tour. Great day

This tour was really good. Even though the road was closed due to the Olympics, we were able to get through because these tour operators are from Teahupoo and they know all about Tahiti Iti. They explained everything very well and it was all very interesting. They pick you up from your hotel in a nice new minivan with AC and show you some interesting sites before arriving in Teahupoo. Then you switch to a boat and see the beautiful scenery. The lunch was Tahitian food and delicious. You take a walk in the jungle so be sure to bring shoes that you walk in the water and then in the jungle which was really nice. Mosquitoes were not bad but I would say to bring some mosquito repellent just in case. Snorkeling was fun, be sure to break a towel and sunscreen. They provide snorkeling gear but we brought our own. This was a very special trip and I highly recommend it. Teepu and Goa were super nice.

The perfect day! Scenic trip around the island, amazing waterfall and blowhole. Arrived in Teahupoo and took a boat out to the wave. So glad we were able to experience it before the Olympics coming up! Super awesome family based hosts! Best trip ever!!

The tour has been fantastic. The organization a 10. They picked us up from the cruise terminal at the agreed time. They took us in a fairly new van with air conditioning, to Teahupoo. They made several stops to go to the bathroom and visit some waterfalls. Then at Teahupoo they were waiting for us with a good-sized boat. The entire team was always super friendly, patient and with a smile. They treated us very well at all times. On the boat we were 4 couples plus 3 crew, there was more than enough space for everyone. The newly built boat, good feeling. We went to see the famous wave. Driving the boat was calm, smooth, and quite stable. We were able to see and photograph the wave calmly without rushing. And we also did other activities on the boat, like going snorkeling in the reefs and they prepared a delicious lunch based on fresh Polynesian-style tuna. Food a 10. Afterwards they dropped us off at the cruise ship station where they had picked us up. Experience and Treatment a 10. Everything is fantastic.
