During this experience, travelers will learn to live the mate as we Argentines do. They will begin with a cultural introduction inside the Mate Museum, where they will discover why this infusion is a symbol of national identity. Then they will participate in a guided tasting of different types of yerba mate, comparing aromas, flavors and sensory profiles. A specialized sommelier will explain the production processes that influence each variety and teach the correct technique to prepare a mate : water temperature, traditional methods, weed management and ways to achieve different intensities. I am really glad we did this tasting as we not only managed to get a taste of three different mates, but our guide Ivan explained how mate is made, how to drink it and what makes it taste differently. Thank you, Ivan, for this amazing experience!
