Our local guide will introduce you to Turin's role in Italian identity and its culinary heritage shaped by 800 years of Savoyard rule. The tour begins at a historic café where you'll enjoy Bicerin, a traditional chocolate drink still loved in 19th-century cafés. As you visit key landmarks, you'll discover the city's history.
Next, you will explore a top chocolate shop, sampling traditional treats like Gianduiotto and Cremino. Gianduiotto, made from finely ground hazelnuts and chocolate, has a rich history dating back to the 19th century when cocoa was scarce.
The chocolate tasting continues with exquisite dark chocolate made from just 10% of the world's finest cocoa, all 100% organic and “bean to bar.”
Then, you will enjoy a wine tasting featuring two iconic Piedmontese wines, paired with an organic meat and cheese platter. Your guide will teach you about the aromas and nuances of each wine for a professional tasting experience.

You have to be punctual, follow the directions of the guide, be friendly and respectful, get carried away with the experience and trust in the selection of pairings, it is a very good experience in general. Attitude will make a difference.

Fabio was not only our guide but also a gastronomic expert and a sommelier. His knowledge of the chocolate, wine and food pairing was quite impressive. Very nice laid-back tour, which we definitely recommend.

My wife and I lucked out and were the only two on the tour. We had a blast! Fabio was an extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about chocolate, food and wine. He also easily accommodated the tour for vegetarians.
