Our local guide will introduce you to Turin's role in Italian identity and its culinary heritage shaped by 800 years of Savoyard rule. The tour begins at a historic café where you'll enjoy Bicerin, a traditional chocolate drink still loved in 19th-century cafés. As you visit key landmarks, you'll discover the city's history.
Next, you will move on to a cozy place, where you will have a lesson about fine chocolate, with exquisite dark chocolate made from just 10% of the world's finest cocoa, all 100% organic and “bean to bar.” You will then sample traditional chocolates like Gianduiotto and Cremino. Gianduiotto, made from finely ground hazelnuts and chocolate, has a rich history dating back to the 19th century when cocoa was scarce.
Then, you will enjoy a wine tasting featuring two iconic Piedmontese wines, paired with an organic meat and cheese platter. Your guide will teach you about the aromas and nuances of each wine for a professional tasting experience.

Loved the side trip to the very old pharmacy. Guide was terrific and I found the whole experience to be great. Both the wines and the chocolate were unexpected, and very exciting.

Nice relaxing walk through the plaza, followed by the chocolate and wine tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable and super pleasant about n his presentation. Definitely worth the price, both in $ and in time. And the white wine that was presented was really remarkable.

We had an amazing time with Fabio, our incredible guide! He’s studied at the Slow Food University, and knew all the finer points about chocolate tasting, wine tasting, and food pairings. We took this tour early on in our trip, and I am so glad we did! Not only did Fabio give us a wonderful tour, he also supplied us with fabulous restaurant recommendations. Every place he recommended was delicious, and had impeccable service. This tour was more than worth the price we paid!

We tasted a nice selection of chocolate with my 11 yo son. We both were pleased. Extremely kind and professional host, who was at the same time friendly and funny. His selection was very good, especially the last part with the chocolates all over the world (which honestly I came for). My little one, in contrary, liked the Turin's selection more. Anyway, each one of us found his perfect bite over there. Thank you for the lovely experience!

I’ve eaten chocolate all my life but learned so much about the layers of flavors and what influences their changes. This was fun and interesting. Never had someone break down the taste experience quite so well.

This was a very intentionally curated and thorough dive into the wine and chocolate scene of Turin, and included its bits of history and fun facts that were catered to my specific interests. Fabio was amazing, a wealth of information, and very personable. He also very graciously and thoroughly answered questions I had.
