This is one of the best experiences you can have in Brighton - a fast track into the world of Brighton's excellent independent food scene and truly some of the most delicious bites I've had in any city. Our guide Simone was brilliant warm and funny and super knowledgeable not only about the stops we made - at WONDERFUL cafes, food shops and restaurants - but about food in general. It's clear that Brighton Food Tours have excellent relationships with all the makers and we were welcomed so warmly and given little talks about the provenance of everything. A way to get very swiftly under the skin of a city via it's beautiful food - and the walking gives you a really quick map of where you are too. 5 stars. I'd give it more if I could! :)

Ashley was an excellent guide who really knew his stuff and made the Tour huge fun. Great places visited and we came home full having experienced some great samples in 7 different venues. Would hugely recommend - we are local but went to places we had never visited and will now go back. Thank you

We had a great time on the V.I.B tour. We were a group of six, which made it feel very bespoke. Our tour guide Liam was very friendly and knowledgeable about all things food related in the local area. He was truly fantastic! The food was delicious, with a good variety of flavours, this catered for many different tastes, with the portion sizes being just about right. Each restaurant owner made time to talk to us about their dishes, which was lovely. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely fantastic tour, could not have asked for a better guide in Ashley, and a group of fun folk to enjoy wonderful finds, foods and tastes with in Brighton. As we’ve recently moved here, we thought it would be a great way to learn more about our new home town and where to find great food - we were right. From Mexican to Sushi, Sausage Rolls to Gelato, vegetarian fish & chips to cinnamon buns we were well fed with such delicious bites. Can’t recommend enough !

Fantastic tour! Liam was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Took my parents as a way to show them around Brighton but learnt so much myself (as a local). Would definitely recommend Liam and the VIB tour

Ashley really made the tour enjoyable with lots of funny Brighton history included too. The food and locations were all lovely and varied too and we can't wait to re-visit Casa Azul. We will definitely recommend to others.

Claire took us on an awesome tour of Brighton & the food scene - she mixed some Brighton history with all the info. of the spots we went to as well as behind the scenes info. for all the venues we visited. The food was lush and the company was great - thank you for an awesome day :) Laura & Jay

Well, what an absolutely brilliant day! As lifelong Brightonians, I thought between myself and my two friends, we pretty much knew most eateries in Brighton. I was wrong! We were taken to some marvellous places we hadn’t been to before (by the very knowledgeable Ashley), met the hosts (who told us about their ethos and shared their passion for their food/produce), learnt some interesting facts about Brighton and had the most incredible food. Also, as someone who is gluten free, I was catered for perfectly. I can’t recommend the VIB tour highly enough.

Simone was a fun and interesting guide mixing history, myths and general knowledge during our excellent foody tour around Brighton. We tasted an eclectic mix of food from various Brighton independent providers from a sausage roll stall in the Open Market to vegan sushi in the North Laine then some Sussex cheeses paired with English rosé wine and a veggie feast at a well known BTN landmark restaurant. We concluded this really interesting tour with homemade ice cream on the sea front! What are you waiting for? Sign up today!!
