We want to organize a unique wine cycling tour in the best red wine area of Romania - Dealu Mare. Our "back in time" ingredient is included in the experience.
For half day you are welcome to experience our local wine producers and to enjoy the hilly landscape of this region. We will visit a local museum, a local winery and we will cross two villages and pastoral landscapes.
The trip is suitable for families with kids and can be customized based on your request.
We will provide suitable bikes and equipment for a special journey.

What To Expect
Bellu Manor
An old manor own by the local family Bellu, now a museum dedicated to the family and to the old life style.
Rotenberg Winery
For visiting the winery we are cycling for 12 km on paved road. The road is crossing local wineries and few villages. Optional, keen cyclists can follow a gravel road of 20 km with an average difficulty climb. Rotenberg is a traditional gravitational winery in Dealu Mare area - probably the most appreciated.

5.00Our guide Yuri was great. He catered for all our needs and was very patient when we could not make it up the hills. The equipment was in good repair and the final destination at Lacerta Winery was inspired. I would highly recommend Bike In Time.

5.00Our guide and owner of this amazing experience was lonuts. He is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the areas visited and Romania in general. He made sure the bikes were adjusted just right for each of us before we started. The bikes he provided were in excellent condition. The entire journey was approximately 18 miles. He provided each of us with a bottle of water. We stopped several times to make sure we were okay and to rest. The journey took us through several small towns, fields of sunflowers and grape vines. Our stay at the vineyard was one of the best we have ever experienced. We had an extremely knowledgeable guide who also was one of the senior staff at the winery. She took her time explaining the entire wine making process. At the end we were provided with meats, cheese and bread to go with our wine tastings. The wine was absolutely incredible. Very high end. All in all it was an experience we will never forget. Highly recommend if you enjoy biking and drinking fine wine.

5.00I found Ionut through another platform but am compelled to leave a review here as well because I must encourage others to experience Ionut's guiding and deep knowledge. I spent 2 weeks with him, as my driver, translator, hiking coach and pretty much concierge. He went above and beyond in so many ways, both large and small. Always being respectful of my energy levels, as I am not in the best physical shape. Ionut created a customized itinerary as my idea was to visit as many Dacian sites as feasible. Along with waterfalls and caves and gorges. We covered about 1000 miles. I was able to enjoy the amazing scenery without the worry of navigating in a country that I can not speak the language. ionut is a true professional. I am so grateful to have had this experience and I know full well, it was amazing BECAUSE of Ionuts attention to detail on my behalf. If you spend time with him, you will understand, and leave Romania feeling as though you have made a lifelong friend.

5.00This was a small-group ride in the wine country outside of Bucharest, and it was wonderful! Part paved, part gravel road. About 20km in total, mostly flat. We had two wonderful vineyard stops. Both were VERY generous with the tastings and provided more than enough snacks, to include local cheese and charcuterie. It was a really awesome day! Highly recommend. The guide/owner Ionut was excellent and super nice, as was his wife who provided the van support.

5.00Simply one of the best experiences to have while visiting Romania. A full body experience with sightseeing, bicycle riding and wine tasting. I definitely recommend the trip ! Over night recommended fully enjoy the experience
