Know before you go
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to start time
- Due to the seating arrangements and limited space on the Yakatabune boat, shared tables may be required, and in accordance with Japanese cultural practices, you will need to remove your shoes to participate in this trip.
- Boarding on SINA boats 1 OR 2 will be random based on the day's traffic
- Leave a note 3 days earlier if need beef change to pork or non-strict vegetarian (remove meat, leave vegetables with sweet soy sauce soup)
- The traditional Japanese performances onboard are not in a fixed format, and different professionals may perform on a daily basis. The main image is just one of the performances
- Please provide the names of all travellers. Failure to do so will be considered a voluntary forfeiture of insurance, and we will not assume any liability in case of any emergency
Cancellation Policy
1. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
2. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
3. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. 4. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
5. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
6. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
7. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Great night on the water in Tokyo

5.00A friend recommended we do a night cruise while in Tokyo to see the city in a different way. So glad we did. Karen, our guide messaged the late afternoon of our 7.20pm cruise for the instructions to meet at the right pier. They included photos and a 3 step guide to meet her.it was very cold so bring a jersey/jumper under your jacket. We arrived 30 mins early, you only needed to be 15 mins before departure but there is paperwork and a briefing by Karen so it did pay to be a little early. We were given our table number and proceeded on board where we took out shoes off at the boat entrance. They give you a bag for them. The tables are low but the small seats are comfortable. There is 2 toilets on board located at the front of the boat on the right side. The 90 min cruise was split into 3 parts, 30 mins for dinner, 30 mins for viewing on the top deck the Rainbow bridge, the Statue of Liberty and the Towers (Skytree and Tokyo). We had the rainbow fountain on as well. The dinner was delicious and the show involves you so be prepared to join in. At the end, you are offered a chance to take photos (free of charge) with the performers who were very talented and lovely to interact with. We also received a small gift. Overall, a fun and enjoyable experience and good memory.

5.00Amazing experience from listening to the music played by the professional shamisen player, understanding and being accommodated by the tour guide Shelia who was so friendly and lovely with taking photos and asking the tourists if we needed anything during the boat ride. Beautiful night view of the city while floating in Tokyo Bay on the boat that we could even go up to the second floor of the deck to look around and the tour guide Shelia even helped took photos of us. I would highly recommend, the only slight issue for people who are taller than five feet and half will probably have trouble coming into the boat since the height is short and the seats are a bit low, but otherwise overall a enjoyable experience. Excellent experience with tour guide Shelia, I would recommend all tourists to go to her for a wonderful night with your loved ones, friends, etc.
