If you are looking for what to do in Gran Canaria and you are an adventurous person who likes adrenaline, hiking, and climbing, we have the perfect plan for you! We offer you a safe outdoor activity in which you can have fun without the need for any prior knowledge and for about 4/5 hours.
This adventure is suitable for those who want to enjoy nature and feel some adrenaline but do not have any prior knowledge about hiking and climbing. You will ascend a large mountain secured by a steel lifeline and other elements that guarantee your safety. (Hiking into the wild: 30 minutes of approach trekking).
The Via Ferrata takes place in the south of Gran Canaria, in a very interesting location on the island to carry out this activity because of its unique rock forms, the good weather, and the incredible views around.
A specialized guide will always ensure your safety and he will also make sure you are having a great time.

This is a group activity for a maximum of 8 people. You will share your time with other clients.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by their parents or legal tutor. Only for children over 12 years old. Exceptionally, children under 12 can come, but upon request and confirmation from Climbo. Availability of places and seats for children is limited, with only 4 children per activity.

5.00This was a good, fun activity. It is well led and very safe. Victor is very entertaining and knowledgeable. Good for beginners and people who have never done via ferata before, but you need to have suitable clothing. Nice to see a bit of the island away from lots of people.

5.00This morning we set off to the Gran Canaria volcanic rocks for a via ferrate adventure. I had Victor and Stan as a guides. It was a short walk to the crags. The boys were very chatty. I learned a lot about the mother nature some plants and fauna. After the safety brief we made the first clip and started the ascending. It felt really safe. I was given the opportunity to try and climb some of the routes which felt amazing. The boys kindly took numerous pics and videos, I even had a chance to have some light food. After ascending and descending some of the routes we finely reached the end safely and everybody was happy that We Made It 😂. I would strongly recommend booking with climbo, the communication is excellent the guides are the best and they have plenty of different adventures to suite everyone. Many thanks to Anna, Victor and Stan. 🧗♀️☀️

5.00We did the Via Ferrata with Victor and it was a blast. It has been a long time since we have been so vertical and so comfortable. The landscape surrounds you and with Victor's explanations of flora and fauna... the landscape is incredible! This type of guide is what makes you value an island like this, because they live it and feel it and this is fantastic. Time passes and you don't realize when you do activities in this way, one of the best ways to get to know the insides of the island in a safe and fun way. Thank you very much for the experience, we will definitely repeat the Climbo team.
