Michele was an excellent guide. He was on time and professional and gave us information and plenty of time for photos. He took us to a lovely place for lunch. He tried to park as close as possible at each stop. Highly recommended.

Our driver was not very friendly and hardly spoke English. He did not elaborate on where we were or what was around us. He dropped us at a few points and just told us to be back at a specific time. No suggestions on direction or points of interest. He also was falling asleep while driving back through the tunnels. The excursion also said there would be water and there was none.

We had a wonderful day with Cosimo. The stops were great, the family run restaurant in Santa Margarita was excellent and the extra tour in Genoa was outstanding. Cosimo was very helpful in accommodating my extra mobility needs too. Highly recommend.

Perfect private tour! We visited from the cruise terminal of Genoa Portofino, Camogli, and Santa Margherita. The drive takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Portofino. On site we have time to visit. This is the best way to visit these sites during a cruise stop. The driver was extremely kind and kind. The top! I would recommend Enrico Limousine. Communication and service at the top!

This is not a guided tour by the definition of guided tour. It’s simply a car & a driver who move you between places without much information about the area you’re seeing. The places themselves are stunning of course but if I need a private driver I can get it sorted. The driver was decent as driver but surely not qualified as a tour guide.

Our small group of 8 had an amazing time visiting Camogli, Santa Margherita, Portofino and Genoa. We were able to set our own schedule and our driver was gracious to take us into Portofino since the ferry from Santa Margherita was not operating that day. In spite of the rainy day, we thoroughly enjoyed the coastal areas and small towns. We even had ample time to see some of Genoa before having to return to our ship. Just keep in mind that this is a driver only so we did not get much info about the places we visited except when we asked.

Scenery was beyond beautiful. Like stepping into a book. Maximo (?) was nice and very courteous. It was dissappointing that he didn’t seem to know much about the areas we traveled to.

We requested a guide as we had read some reviews that were not positive about the drivers and their ability to speak English and share information about the sites. The guide they provided, Elisabetta Frega, was amazing! She was born in the area and knew it well. We loved her energy and passion for the sites we visited. Most of this tour was on foot so there was lot of walking which was fine with us but may be more than some area comfortable with. I rating this tour a 4 as our driver did not speak any English at all, otherwise it would be a 5 star. When the guide was with us we were fine, but after she departed and we were on the way back to the ship we needed to us google transcript the communicate with drive. We recommend that tour, but only if you hire an English speak guide or are fluent in Italian.

We booked this tour with high expectations based on the promised itinerary, but it was a complete letdown from start to finish. Our guide seemed completely unprepared and unaware of what the tour was supposed to include. Instead of dropping us off in Santa Margherita to enjoy the ferry ride to Portofino as advertised, he simply drove us there. When we asked about taking the ferry back (which was part of the experience we were looking forward to), he had no idea about the schedule or even where the ferry stop was. In the end, he just picked us up by car again in Portofino. Throughout the drive, there was barely any commentary. We had to ask the names of towns we were passing through, and there was no information given about the areas we were visiting. When we arrived in Camogli, he just dropped us off without any explanation or direction, and arranged only a meeting time. Back in Genoa, he didn’t give us a city tour or show us key sites like the cathedral, which was supposed to be part of the itinerary. Overall, this was not a guided tour, it was more like paying for a very expensive, silent chauffeur. We are a family of two adults and two kids, and this experience was a major disappointment. Absolutely not worth the money, and not what was promised. Avoid!
