San Antonio Arrazola
Palenque de mezcal ancestral We will visit a traditional palenque of mezcal, where a master mezcalero will show us the complete artisan process of making mezcal, as has been done for generations. We will see how agave pineapples are cooked in earthen ovens, how they are ground with stone tahona and fermented in wooden tubs, and finally how it is slowly distilled in copper or mud stills. The tour includes a guided tasting of artisan mezcals, where you will learn to distinguish the aromas, flavors and techniques that make Oaxacan mezcal unique.

The snorkeling took forever to organize. Not worth the expense. Or bring your own gear. Pottery and wood carving visits were good

Loved seeing Mt Alban and Rodrigo was a great tour guide. Mezcal tour was great and enjoyed learning about our spirit animals. Black pottery was pretty but a far drive. We were disappointed with late pickup and the fact that tour took 9 hours instead of advertised 7 hours which got us back to city later than expected

Great tour! Enrique was awesome and was flexible with the tour so that we could get back in time for the big parade in Town for Day of the Dead! Highly recommend! I learned a lot and had a wonderful time with awesome people on the tour.
