We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord:
The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. The painting of The battle of the Trollfjord can be viewed in Svinøya Rorbuer`s Gunnar Berg Gallery.

Exceptionally well run and the boat captain made us feel safe and kept us entertained with cultural and nature know how. Great story telling. We were lucky and the weather conditions were outstanding. Once in a lifetime experience for sure.

Spectacular experience start to finish, I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about going. Afterwards, we said we would encourage friends to plan a whole trip to Lofoten just to go on the sea eagle safari. We had an excellent guide, and the embarkation process was simple and explained well. Our expectations for wildlife sightings in a 2hr boat ride were modest — and we were wowed by how close you get to the animals and their frequency in numbers. I would have brought gloves if I had it to do over (although they will lend you a pair)

Amazing experience! So many sea eagles, and Trollfjorden was magical. I will definitely take this tour again the next time I’m in Lofoten

This was a great trip. We saw dozens of eagles from close range. Our guide was super. We were able to get great pictures of eagles. Recommended for photographers and everyone else.
