Had an amazing time on the zodiac tour and saw a whole lot of wildlife (Orcas, Humback whales, Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Bald Eagle and a huge group of Dolphins!) Connor was an amazing guide and made it a great experience!

We sailed with a zodiac to Johnstone Strait, we saw 3 killer whales pretty soon, so beautiful! Then Connor gave us the choice whether we wanted to look for whales, or sail to another area, where there would probably also be killer whales. Our entire group has chosen the whales and we have seen them extensively. To conclude, a large group of Steller sea lions. During the tour, Connor explained the animals we saw and the area we were in. We had beautiful weather that day.

With our enthusiastic guide / skipper Connor had a very nice morning. Main goal, of course, was whale watching. Since humpback whales are (apparently) in very predictable locations, we first went looking for Orcas. Just looking, but a nice group of 6-7 animals found a while from a distance can follow. Seen bald eagles and sea lions in between. Sailed on to humpback whales: almost immediately we saw 3-4 of these huge beasts near our boat and later on the way back to Telegraph Cove 3 more! Nice to see how people try to disturb the animals as little as possible. In between fun facts/stories from Connor. Glad we booked this excursion. The location of Telegraph Cove makes it (I think) extra fun, because you are quickly between the islands and therefore almost immediately somewhere where you can see nice things.

The experience was worth every penny. It was great fun to cruise along with high speed in the Zodiac boat. Our very nice and knowledgeable guide Scotty took us out and he found us so many whales that it was hard to decide in which direction to look. Scotty told us the most interesting facts about every whale and how researchers tell them apart and catalogue them. We encountered several humpbacks and a pod of Orcas as well as a single Orca on the hunt for salmon.

We had the BEST marine tour you could imagine! James was a lovely tour guide - he was so knowledgeable and respectful of the wildlife we saw, and so clever at finding such a variety for us to see: a pod of orca, pod of dolphins, numerous humpback whales, sealions, seals, birdlife. Truly an experience to be cherished and remembered. James - you are amazing - thank you!

Driving James really good, despite the fog (August fogest) we were able to see the killer whales, several times and the dolphins. Not the whales but the killer whales were a breathtaking sight and James gave us so many interesting explanations.

It was super rainy and weather was terrible, but the guide was so optimistic and kind! We did spot a family of orka's, so that was our hope. Also lots of sealions super close and swimming along.

What an awesome experience!! Our guide, James, was super knowledgeable and very friendly. We saw sooo many orca whales, I bet around 20, as well as dolphins and seals. The weather was very cloudy, but it made the whole experience feel so PNW and cozy. And the life jackets/body suits they provide you kept you pretty warm. Overall, my husband and I had an amazing time and James was awesome! Thanks again :)

Today we went on the whale watching tour with Connor (assisted by Kennedy) from Telegraph Cove. Still in the harbor we immediately saw three river otters, who clearly enjoy the fish remains they can find. Once at sea, Connor first went looking for killer whales. Soon he found two groups of killer whales, about 10 animals. What beautiful animals! Good also to see that the skipper does everything to keep enough distance from the animals. After we had extensively looked at the orcas, we sailed on in search of humpback whales. We saw two humpback whales come up together each time and then dive for a few minutes. In the meantime, we got interesting information about the animals. Next to the whales we saw another porpoise and on our return a black bear and an eagle. Sailing in the zodiac was much more comfortable than I expected and it is nice to be so close to the water.
