To start the class we will enjoy the special herbal tea and hear the stories behind the popular cafés of Vietnam and their connection to the history and culture
Though it is brewed using a surprisingly low tech technique, with a little metal filter called a Phin (a version of the French press), the flavor is truly rich and deep. This class will make sure that you can work with our filter and the Secret Recipe of the master to make our beautiful coffee at home.
In this class you will learn about the process of coffee from crop to cup: Learn the steps needed to roast dark beans so that they mix perfectly with sweet condensed milk, which is an improvisation made due to the limitations on the availability of fresh milk at French colonial time.
We will make 5 different types of coffee :
- Traditonal black coffee
- Vietnamese happy white coffee
- Hue Imperial Salt coffee
- Ha Noi Capital Egg coffee
- Fresh coconut coffee
Enjoy your coffee with a cookie and Vietnamese Tea.

From the beginning the experience has been relaxing and fun The family who took thuis session were really welcoming, incredibly patient and sweet. They made sure everyone is comfortable and guided us step by step through everything. We made different type of coffee like salt coffee, coconut coffee, egg coffee, etc. My favourite is coconut coffee. What stood out most is their enthusiasm to teach us about history of each coffee, you can genuinely tell they love their craft. The stetting was also beautiful, relaxed and comfortable. There is always someone to guide you in case you missed some steps or made some mistakes. The vibe made it easy to enjoy with other tourists. If you are in Hoi An and love coffee, I would recommend you to take up this session.
