This was a great tour about 5 hours 4 waterfalls where you can swim plus a tour round a cachaça distillery. Great lunch at a very cheap price but the best part was the guide so friendly and excels in English . no hard hikes on this one and the last waterfall has a jungle bar where you can chill out if you don't want to swim. The weather did not play ball on the day I went but loved it anyway. If you get a perfect day it would be even more memorable

We had an amazing time on this adventure. Communication was clear, we met at the designated location and were easily signed in. We boarded a jeep and our guide was very talkative and explained our plans for the day. 30 minutes outside of the city, we walked a short distance to the first waterfall from there. We walked two more minutes to a second waterfall. There was an option to go on the water, although I did not enter the water. We then went to Cachaça Distillery and learned all about the process of Cachaça making. After that, we went to a restaurant that was nestled on a beautiful farm and hillside, and had a buffet lunch. After this, we walked to another waterfall where people had the option to slide down the waterfall. Then there was a walk to additional waterfall, at this point, I opted to hang out at the farm where I drank tea and chatted with some folks. The trip was accessible, fun and affordable, and I recommended to anyone who comes to town.

I need a refund of my money since they canceled the Tours and my Tours were for Ilhabella Island. I want a refund or I will be able to tell them that they are a scam. They took the money from my card and I still have no answer.

Our guide, Louis, was brilliant and so were the drivers. They were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The group’s safety if people chose to swim at the waterfalls was clearly their highest priority. Really enjoyable day. The staff at Paraty tours (who run the jeep safari) were also great. I lost something valuable whilst at the distillery, the distillery called the office to tell them they’d found it before I’d even noticed I’d lost it. When I got back to the office, the staff arranged for a driver to go pick it up for me. Overall fantastic service. Only downside was 2 hour break for lunch. Tour would’ve been better as 4 hours without the late lunch stop instead of 6 hours

Even tough the guide was very nice the tour was really boring. The jungle tour turned out to be a 5 min walk to a waterfall (which where counted as two) and back to the jeep. The highlight were some stones under a waterfall which you where able to slide down (called tarzan). The rest was filled with a visit to a "chosen" Restaurant and the "ability" to taste and also buy cachaca (two stops at two different distilleries). With a tour to the first distillery which took 15!! min.

The tour started good when Ivan, a really funny and friendly guy picked us up with his Landrover. In the City of Paraty we met the other cars full of tourists. Our guide Lea explained the route and then we started. First stop was an waterfall with a little bathing possibility. That's were we saw what I wrote in the title, a lot of people are brought here to swim for 30 minutes and then back to the road, we had such a good time in Rio, with many tours, but that was really too much. Next stop was the cachaca destillery where Lea explained how the national drink is made - she does a great job, so nice and helpful. We told her that we want to leave because there are too many people for swimming (2 more waterfalls ahead)! She was very sorry and very friendly! Finally Ivan was so kind to bring us back to our Pousada! All in all great guides, a great driver but many many tourists carted to a small swimming place...

This tour is fantastic, I have been on a lot of similar tours throughout Asia and this was by far the best. The tour guide was fantastic...fun, knowledgeable and was able to translate everything into English for us. We visited 2 x waterfalls both of which were indescribably beautiful and had loads of pools to swim in plus a natural rock slide!! The cachaca distillery visit was also an interesting stop off to learn more about local culture. This is a must for anyone visiting Paraty!
