Enjoy a nature lover’s paradise, where you will view fascinating volcanic attractions like fumaroles, bubbling mud pots and boiling hot springs at the foothills of the active Rincón De La Vieja Volcano. Experience this wonderful scenery with tropical flowers, stunning trees and crystal clear streams while you hike for 2 hours through exciting trails, viewing some of the most stunning geology in Costa Rica. You should also spot many animals, potentially such as coatis, spider-monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, peccaries, deer and some bird species, including toucans, curassows, bellbirds, parrots, hummingbirds, owls, woodpeckers, tanagers, and many others. The waterfall Oropendula is part of this tour. Lunch included.

Our tour guide was Jason, and he was the best. He was very personable, informative, and flexible. It was a private tour, and it was just my family of four in the van. We even made an additional stop at a mercado. Jason knew a lot about the animals near the volcano, and the hike there was cool. The waterfall was beautiful, and the hot springs felt great. I would 100% recommend this tour!

Traveled to Guanacaste in early June 2021 and wasn't planning to do any tours but after speaking with a friend who did tours with this company, I decided to book 2 tours. Jeffrey was willing to customize our tours to cater to the activities that we were interested in. I did the volcano hiking and an early morning ATV your. Both were great! I even contacted Jeffrey to arrange transportation to a beach town and he came through. The volcano hiking tour was about 1.5 hours away from our hotel and the tour itself took about 5 hours. Our guide Jason was fun and informative. The volcano tour included a waterfall, mud baths, hiking and lunch. On the way back, he stopped us at a souvenir shop at our request. The ATV tour was fabulous! Jeffrey was our guide. He was easy to talk to and flexible. I would definitely recommend booking your tour with ATV Beach Tours. I believe that all tours are private which is awesome, especially during the pandemic.

My I say I LOVED IT!! From the Volcano activity tour to the bomb food at Hotel and the swimming BUT Overall to the patience of Jason our tourist guide. Got my workout and Loved it (I am on the heavyside) Would Definitely Recommend. December 6, 2020

Jason was a great tour guide. He has a lot of knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area. He was punctuatual and talkative. The waterfall was beautiful and the hike was just the right length of time. We were able to see lizards, monkeys, volcanic activity, birds and native plants. Definitely would recommend this tour company. They even picked us up from our vacation rental in Playa Flamingo.
