York Town Hall
Situated in the Avon Valley, York is one of Western Australia’s most picturesque towns with charming architecture. This town was the first inland European settlement in Western Australia, founded back in 1831. Be sure to take a short stroll along the main town strip and see many of the old buildings which are still in use today.

The drive was long, but it was definitely worth the ride! Make sure you bring a fly mask to make your trip more enjoyable. The wave rock and the small towns along the way were beautiful!

The wave skirt was very impressive and nice to behold. York was also very interesting. I didn't like the zoo that much. The bird cages were too small for me. Especially where I see the cockatoos flying over longer distances in Australia. Finally we stopped at a dog cemetery.

York is a gem of a small town - car museum, good food including gluten free and vegan, interesting well stocked shops.

Terry was good but strict. I am glad he opened up more towards the end. Loved the extra pit stops, he made it special. Kudos to Terry! Be on time get to see more! Listen to uncle Terry!

It was a long drive from Perth City centre to see a rock, but it was worth visiting to wonder how that rock formed that way. Our tour bus was comfortable, and our guide and driver, Luke, was very accommodating and friendly with his very interesting historical narratives and stories. Our lunch, which was included in the tour, was quite bland, and nothing to choose from.
