It was an interesting day out seeing some of the sites from LOTR - you had to use your imagination somewhat though as the scenes in the film were either digitally enhanced, or the buildings created dismantled. But the scenery around Wellington is beautiful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the movie locations and the scenes shot there. We had an excellent lunch included at a local restaurant where we could order whatever we liked. The visit to WEGA studios in the afternoon was also fascinating.
