COLLECT Our journey starts by safely collecting all of our guests & getting onboard our vehicle. If you are coming in by cruise ship, we will collect you directly from the port. You do not need to get on a shuttle bus or head to the city as we are accredited to collect you as you walk off the ship. If you are being collected from your hotel then please wait in reception or just outside where you can been seen by your friendly guide. Sit tight, sometimes traffic (or people) can delay our arrival. If you are being collected from the iSite then pop out to the tour bus stop just outside/beside the iSite. Keep an eye out for Ka Rawe signage on the vehicle & we'll see you soon!
Mount Victoria Lookout
What about this for a first stop! Check out the best vantage point in our beautiful city. Breathtaking 360 degree views of the central business district, the harbour & the ocean to the south. Stunnnnning! Legend has it that Wellington harbour, originally a land-locked lake, was home to two large and very active taniwha (sea monsters). One taniwha forged a passage to the open sea creating the entrance to the harbour. The second, named Whataitai, tried a different route, became stranded and died. It is believed that Tangi-te keo (Mt Victoria) was named after the soul of Whataitai. Probably the best photo opportunity on the tour, our guide/host would be delighted to be your personal photographer for the day. What a beautiful city!

Nathan was fantastic - so knowledgeable and passionate about his country and city He looked after us so well and helped my husband (who uses a wheelchair) making the day not only possible but really special We would definitely recommend - enough time in each stop although it would have been nice to stop for a coffee or ice team at some point as it was very warm That’s not a criticism as we did so much in our half day trip Thank you for a very memorable day 😊

Well another fantastic trip here in New Zealand Wellington. Nathan was a very knowledgeable guide who is passionate about his country and a great guide interacting with all and spreading his knowledge to us and answering many varied questions. He also helped well with the wheelchair guest on board. His humour was great snd he included every one on board. Would highly recommend this tour. Nathan Thank you.

Though the weather didn’t cooperate, our half day tour was perfect. We hit all the highlights, and our guide Sam did a great job giving us the history on people and places as we went. If you only have a half day to see highlights of Wellington city, this is just right.

Was a great way to see Wellington as we didn't have much time being on a cruise ship. Our guide was lovely and we saw some lovely views. The only downside was the windows in the van didn't make it easy to see some of the sights.

An interesting way to see the highlights of Wellington. We had a wonderful local guide who gave a comprehensive insightful tour and was friendly and engaging on a personal level. He was clear on his instructions and safety. No problems with pick up and drop off to cruise ship. Would highly recommend supporting local businesses and its people with this tour.

This tour covered the highlights of Windy Wellington but also gave you time if wanted to explore on your own. Our guide, Alex, was knowledgeable, answered questions and made stops if needed. Thanks for a great morning.
