5.0When booking I thought the price was a bit on the high side, but by the end of the day it had been absolutely worth it - money well spent!! Our tour guide, Grant, was exceptional (and wore a fab jumper!). His wealth of knowledge was unbelievable, absolutely a true fan who knew his stuff and more. Plus, he had a great personality and made the whole day's experience that much more special. Visiting the numerous sites across the day and hearing stories of each location and interacting with others in our party just wouldn't have been the same if we'd done it under our own steam. Spending time at WETA was amazing - OMG, what a treasure trove that place contains! And we spent loads in the shop!! Plus we had a great lunch at Aston Norwood. Perfect day all round. All in all, it was an amazing day. My girlfriend and I had the best time, one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand. PS. Getting picked up and dropped off at the hotel (Copthorne Wellington) was a bonus. Thank you.

5.0This was a fantastic tour! I booked for my husband and I, my husband is a LOTR fanatic, I haven't seen the movies. I found the tour absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide Robbie had been an extra on all LOTR movies and brought the sites to life with the information and perspective of the filming. This tour is for anyone and the WETA workshop was great too. Highly recommend especially if booking from cruise ship. This was so easy.

5.0Great full-day LOTR experience. Guide Dixie was super knowledgeable and shared lots of behind-the-scenes stories. Her energy was great and she was sociable and made everyone feel comfortable. I had fun and learned a lot more about the films. Definitely recommend for LOTR fans.
