Great overview of Wellington. Weather was a little uncooperative. Beautiful sites. Guide was very knowledgeable.

This was a nice overall tour of Wellington! Stops in many places for scenic pictures. Our guide Gary was very informative and helpful. The lunch stop was delicious! We had 11 in our van which was a good number. The only negative was one of the guests who was clearly sick and sneezed and blew his nose continuously! I wish people would stay on the ship if they are sick.

Seeing the many seals and sea lions in their natural habitat was exciting, particularly the baby seals frolicking along the rugged coastline. The ocean views were exceptional. The were a lot of stairs to climb but it was worth it. The experience was enhanced by being with a small group of compatible people. The only drawback was that there only one penguin and it wasn't possible to get close enough to it to really see it.

Gary was a wonderful guide who exposed us to Wellington, its many features and beauty. There was a lot to see and he was very informative and I recommend it. Time was a little tight at the end and we really didn't have time to explore the garden. Perhaps that might be eliminated from the tour.
