A value for money day trip only 90 minutes up the West Coast of Cape Town, where we visit a private game reserve for a 3 hour game drive, see 4 of the big 5 (everything except elephant) and get up close and personal with a Rhinoceros.

Discovering the Spirit of the San at the World heritage site will leave you in awe of these simple people. The San are one of the last hunter-gatherer societies left on earth. Their ancient way of life, their languages, and their culture are under grave threat from modern society, climate change impacts, and a widespread lack of understanding of their way of life.

What To Expect

Enjoy a 3-hour game drive at Buffelsfontein private game reserve. Break at half time for complimentary refreshments. Buffelsfontein Game & Nature Reserve offers one of the largest selections of wildlife, just an hour’s drive from Cape Town. This 1600ha family owned reserve is home to 4 of the big 5 (Lion, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard), as well as Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Eland, Oryx, Blue Wildebeest, Mountain Reedbuck, Red Hartebeest and much more.

I cannot recommend this tour enough!! Robbie is local to the area and is clearly so passionate about what he does and showing the world the little bits of Cape town’s surrounding areas that you will never find on your own. As a solo female traveller I cannot recommend this enough. Robbie does everything to ensure your comfort and this tour is unique and provides and in-depth view into some Of South Africa’s greatest kept secrets west of Cape Town

This is a fantastic trip that includes so many interesting things! Robbie had really put his heart into this and it was such a good mix of everything! I didnt think that you would be able to see this many things in only one day, but it was well planned. I was definitely worth the money and I recommend everyone to go and enjoy!:)

Robbie’s West Coast Safari Tour was a jam-packed day, in the best of ways. Starting with breakfast and a game drive (hello rhinos!), followed up by a beer tasting, lunch at Evita Se Perron, a wine tasting, a visit to !kwah ttu heritage centre, and finishing with a drink by the ocean looking out on Table Mountain. I cannot recommend this experience enough! Robbie has put together an incredibly thoughtful tour that is fun and exciting, while teaching you about the culture and people of Africa along the way. I would readily come back for this tour! If you’re looking for an adventure, with a little bit of everything sprinkled in - take a look this way.

This tour was everything I expected and more! Firstly, the whole experience feels like a day out with friends and I was instantly comfortable with our tour guide. Secondly, the activities are so much fun and such a nice mix of different experiences that you really get a taste of what the region has to offer. Lastly, the value for money is incredible! I never thought I'd be able to afford a tour of this type and I can't believe everything I got to experience in just a day. I'll remember this for a long time to come!
