Nice bus ride to Windsor Castle. The audio guide was helpful but we had to rush through St George's Chapel and the Staterooms. There was not enough time to see or visit anything else. Very disappointing. We were told to be back to the bus at 1:30 and we left around 2pm to be taken to the Tower of London. Arrived at the Tower of London at 4pm. Had time only to rush through the museum and the Crown Jewels and then be shuffled by staff to the exit at 5:30pm. The tour company should not offer this combined tour of these two attractions on the same day; there is not enough time. And to top it off, my information on this tour said transportation was provided back to the meeting place which was close to our hotel. This was not the case. There was no further transportation after being taken to the Tower of London.

The overall tour was good. The two challenges was, we were told to be ready at 9:40 for a 9:50 pick up, the pick up didn’t happened until 10:10 with not communication letting us know that the bus was late. Second the tour guide didn’t communicate well. When we enter Windsor Castle after going through the security screening she disappeared and we were sure if we were on our own or had to wait for her. Once we finally got to the Tower of London, on the bus she said she would guide us but upon screening at security she said she wasn’t taking us through the Tower of London. Better communication was go a long way to easy the stress of traveling and going on these tours.

Date - 7/10/2025 Our tour was Anderson tours and our tour guide was Georgia - she was very sweet and we loved her personality but she could have made some changes to help us have a better experience The tour started late (we were told to be at earls court at 9:50 am) Georgia and the bus arrived a little after 10am We proceeded to Windsor castle but didn’t know there would be so many people - we had trouble finding Georgia - she proceeded to the tour gate but we couldn’t find her amongst a plethora of people and no indication on where to go or where to be — we finally found her after searching for a couple of minutes since we got separated and was hard to find where she was. We were given 3 hours but 1 hour was spent in line and due to the amount of people (not Georgia’s fault BUT we were given no warning of the amount) we couldn’t see everything inside due to the long lines - we were pushed for time and were only able to see St. George’s chapel. After, we booked to see the Tower of London — we left Windsor a little after 1:40pm and didn’t arrive to Tower of London until 4:06pm with scheduled times on our tickets between 3:30pm-4pm and the Tower of London closing around 5pm?? (But had no indication or sign of when it truly closed ) due to staff telling us to leave. To mention - we were the only two booked for the Tower of London on our group of 50 people — we were not on Anderson tours list from the beginning despite being booked months ago and had to be hand written down on her list. Not Georgia’s fault but Anderson tours made us feel like an after thought as we arrived late to the Tower of London after paying a lot of money and felt we didn’t get our moneys worth and got cheated due to poor planning and timing. We also questioned why we were the only two people out of a bus of 50 that booked the Tower of London. Anderson tours did not account for the traffic nor given a heads up about when the tower would be closing - which led to little time to tour the Tower of London as we arrived and got in with only a little over an hour to see the tower before staff pushed us out and closed up around 5:15pm?? Communication was key to us as well as timing and coordination — perhaps to improve for future tours - 1. perhaps have those who are going to the Tower of London proceed to another bus while others who just booked Windsor castle be dropped off in another bus — 2. perhaps a flag or sign or a whistle to make it easier to navigate through the crowd or been told where to go in case the group got separated at Windsor castle - 3. Allow more ample time for both Windsor and Tower of London perhaps an earlier time or perhaps two buses for those who booked only one tour and those who booked both.
