On this tour we will explore one of my favorite parts of Zaragoza, we will walk through its ancient streets to discover in them the heritage that Roman, Muslim, Jewish and Christian bequeathed us. In each place we will taste a wine of the four denominations of origin of Aragon, which are Cariñena, Campo de Borja, Calatayud and Somontano, accompanied by local products, from its best vegetables, to its best cheeses and Teruel hams. We will understand the importation of winemaking in the region.

Not only is Jorge knowledgeable but he loves Zaragoza and loves to share his passion. We went to Tapas Bars we never even saw as we explored the city on our own. The history of the city and the bars themselves was an added bonus.

Marta was an excellent guide. She provided great commentary on Zaragoza and more broadly Spanish history. Her locations for tapas and wine were perfect for our appetites and she was a wonderful conversationalist.

The tapas and wine tour in Zaragoza was so much fun! My sister and I absolutely loved our guide Marta. We were a little late to the meeting spot because it was Good Friday of Semana Santa (Holy Week) and the processions were in full force. Thankfully, Marta waited for us and was more than happy to accommodate our desire to watch the processions while also enjoying the tour. Learning about some of Zaragoza’s history was interesting and the wine and tapas were delicious. Best of all was Marta. We enjoyed our evening with her so much!!
