5.00Visiting the Montioni Frantoio & Cantina was an absolute highlight during our visit to Umbria. Our host Jessica told us the story of the company and explained the whole process in very immersive way - starting from the visit on the fields seeing how the plants grow, then showing us the technical aspects of the production and finally presenting the final products that we could try with a delicious lunch. We recommend such experience as a very pleasant way to make your trip to Italy unforgettable!

5.00Was really a great experience. Very interesting discussion with the owner. Learned a lot of umbrien wines and wine making. We had also a nice olive oil tasting. We liked the intensive oil from Moraiola olives. Thanks Paolo!

5.00We had 13 family members including a 3 year old and a 9 month old and your staff were thoughtful and very informative about the vineyards and olive groves. We also had a very interesting trip around the wine making area and the olive pressing area. They then served us all lunch and wine tasting.

5.00We spent an enjoyable afternoon at the Montioni Winery. Very informative tour, great tasting and local snacks. Purchased wine to take home. Montefalco is also a very beautiful town. And our dog, Monty, had his picture taken and is now on the winery's Instagram page!

5.00What a wonderful tour, small, personal and so informative. We loved walking the vines and learning all about them and then the olives groves, where we learnt so much. The subsequent lunch was exceptional, coupled with their superb wines, which were generously served. It was also wonderful to meet the whole family, who were delightful.

5.00An excellent afternoon with the very knowledgeable tour guide who spoke excellent English. Enjoyed seeing the grape vines and the 250 year old olive trees. The lunch and wine tasting was excellent. Visited 6 years ago; and have since imported wine from the vineyard to our home in the UK many times, stocked up on their excellent Montefalco Rosso and Olive Oil while we were here. Look forward to returning again, hopefully in less than 6 years. Thank you.
