A great sampling of a variety of Italian foods in a special neighborhood known to tour guide, Rush. Very personal, small group. Wonderful wine or beer to accompany each food . Very special tour and a perfect way to start our Italian vacation.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Toni guided a group of 11 of us through the Trastevere neighborhood, stopping at so many amazing restaurants. We had artichoke and burratta and tomatoes and bread. We had wine, pork stew, and porcchetta, and biscotti, and cacio e pepe, and suppli, and gelato. There were accommodations for vegetarians and an onion allergy. Every single thing was delicious. Toni’s knowledge of food, the city, and the history made the entire experience fun and memorable. She even arranged for a birthday tiramisu for one of the women in our group who was celebrating her 60th birthday. We all had fun. We all ate well. We all learned a lot. Toni has a long history in the food industry and even published a cookbook recently. I am definitely buying it. Honestly, this is the best food tour. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about this tour. Toni was fantastic. Her knowledge of the neighborhood, the food scene, the bakeries, and their owners was impressive. We were a group of 11, all wonderful people, and went to a bakery, a gelateria, a deli, an ancient wine cellar, and pasta restaurants. At each spot, the food and wine was perfecto. We had 2 vegetarians and 2 onion allergies and all were accommodated without a problem. She also took us to the breathtaking Santa Maria Basilica. If you get the chance, CHOOSE THIS TOUR. You will not regret it.

Met on time with our very friendly, knowledgeable guide, Toni. She clearly knew the food, the relevant history and had a good relationship with the restauranteurs. Food was excellent and plentiful and Toni worked well to build a good, fun relationship with all of the people on the tour, meaning we had a truly fun, relaxed and delicious gastronomic experience.

This was a highlight of our trip. Each stop was delightful, the history along the way and the approach taken by Micheal to include us all (12 in the group) made this a very enjoyable way to try different specialities and special places.
