Summer is construction season in Yellowstone National Park and sometimes this can impact our tours. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park and your guide will do their best to navigate road closures, traffic slowdowns, and construction wait times.
Petrified Tree
A petrified redwood seems out of place in present day Yellowstone National Park, but millions of years ago, this area looked much different. Petrified trees, such as this are a natural relic of a volcanic past. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of the area. Our tours are customized for each departure. We may not stop here on every tour. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park.

This was the best tour we have ever taken. Gary knows everything about the park and where to find all animals. We saw elk, pronghorn, goats, sheep, and many bison. We also spotted a black bear and a grizzly. The highlight was watching 5 wolves play for 20 whole minutes! Everything was phenomenal-even the lunch was delicious. Do not hesitate to book this tour. It’s amazing.

It was an amazing experience! Our guide, Gary was awesome. He shared his experiences and insights of Yellowstone. As well as finding a variety of wildlife throughout the park. It definitely helped us learn more about Yellowstone and how to navigate the rest of our trip.

This tour surpassed our expectations! Our guide, Randolph, knew exactly where to spot wildlife! He was patient as we took everything in and taught us so much about the animals in the park. He even personalized the tour based on the animals we wanted to see. The scopes that he provided helped us spot a wolf, a mountain goat, moose, and even a bear in her den! He even took pictures and videos with the scopes and sent us the digital files after the tour. I highly recommend this company!

We loved this tour and our guide plus the guide he was training. He was so knowledgeable. They helped us spot lots of animals. The only thing that was disappointing was that we saw Junction Butte wolves, longhorn sheep and golden eagles through his scope and he took pics with his phone through the scope and said he would send them to us but he never did. We reached out to the tour company and they said they would contact him but we still never got anything. Our grandsons keep asking to see the pics. This was Thursday July 18 out of Gartiner. I think his name was Allen

The herds of bison are impressive and since we were there in the spring the calves were plentiful. Elk, moose, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, osprey, bighorn sheep grizzlies were all seen multiple times. Great wildlife tour.

Highlight of our girls trip to Bozeman! We saw an abundance of wildlife…wolves, big horn sheep, bison, elk, trumpeter swans, and pronghorns. The trip exceeded every expectation! Made a side trip to Mammoth Hot Springs. What made our trip even more special was our guide, Kelsey. She greeted us with a warm and genuine smile with hot coffee in the morning. As the day went on, her enthusiasm about being in Yellowstone among the wildlife was so contagious! She was excited to share all her knowledge with us and went out of her way to find each wildlife sighting for us. Looking forward to seeing more of Yellowstone through Yellowstone Safari Company.
