The Narrows
With your guide, you'll take short ride on the shuttle, making your first stop at the Temple of Sinawava- where you'll learn about ancient legends! After a short 1 mile hike you'll have reached the starting point of the Narrows Bottom Up Hike via the Virgin River. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn how this canyon was formed! The Zion Narrows is the main focus of this group guided tour, which is at most a 5 mile hike. While there is minimal elevations gain, you can expect to be hiking up steam and navigating rocks underneath the water.

Spectacular tour! Guide Rachel was the BEST! From an on time pick up at the hotel to efficient outfitters stop to get gear, to an amazing educational experience in the narrows. She was attentive to all of our needs and was able to answer all of our questions. Small group is the way to go! We never felt rushed. She balanced a rigorous trek with timely, strategic safety tips pauses, and mindful stopping points to be able to experience, enjoy, and appreciate the beautiful environment. We highly recommend! This was a great tour! The weather was perfect, our guide, Rachel, was experienced and knowledgeable. The small group was the perfect size. The views were great. You should be fairly fit to do the full tour. I do recommend renting the gear! Be aware, your feet will be wet the entire time.

Our guide Justin Chan was awesome. He was professional, knowledgable and made every effort to ensure we were having a great time, and we did! The Narrows is one of the premier hikes in North America and Justin let us take it at our own pace and we never felt rushed. It was a truly memorable experience.

This was worth every penny. Our guide John was extremely experienced and knew The Narrows so well he easily navigated the terrain, guiding us through the river in the safest way possible. He also managed the pace of the hike to accommodate a fairly wide range of skills and ability. His advance planning included us ordering lunch ahead of time (which we picked up on the way), and renting our water shoes and socks (and returning them at the end of the day). We were able to just enjoy the experience without worrying about any of the logistics or doing the advance planning we would otherwise have had to do. He also have us great suggestions for the rest of our time in the area. All in all an amazing day and an amazing experience!
