Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby. The meeting time will be confirmed with you before your tour starts. Then let's start the amazing journey to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. For your reference, it is suggested that you book a hotel near the East Gate of the Park, where there are more restaurants and hotels for your choice.

BaiLong Elevator

After entering the East Gate, your guide will first escort you to take the Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest and fastest outdoor sightseeing lift listed in the Guinness World Records.

Yuanjiajie

Coming out of the elevator, you will reach Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. The most famous site here is the Hallelujah Mountain, which was the inspiration for the floating mountain in the sci-fi movie Avatar. You will also be constantly mesmerized by other natural wonders like the Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and First Bridge under Heaven. Lunch today is at your own expense. Food options are available on the mountain area with a bit higher prices. Our guide will offer suggestions and assistance. However, the taste of the local dishes is more spicy, salty and greasy, so some people may not like it. For this reason, we would suggest you have a hearty breakfast at hotel and pack some breads or snacks for a simple lunch.

Yangjiajie Scenic Area

After lunch, our guide will accompany you on a shuttle bus to the Yangjiajie Scenic Area, famous for its beautiful streams, lush virgin forests and peak walls. It is hailed as a “major new discovery of Zhangjiajie geomorphology”. Dozens of rolling peaks capped with Wuling pines stand parallel and resemble a row of stone walls.

Tianzi Mountain

Let’s take a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain, which is known as “an enlarged bonsai, a minified fairyland”. With many types of rare plants and protected animals, it is a paradise for nature lovers to explore. Descend the mountain by cable car with your tour guide accompanied. The guide will then take you back to your hotel.

Zhangjiajie

In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up and then drive you along the winding mountain road to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon for around 40 minutes.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge

The most thrilling thing that will welcome you is the high-rising Glass Bridge that spans the canyon. Dare you to walk across this world's highest and longest transparent bridge? Give it a try, and you will feel as if you are wandering in the air! If you are afraid of heights, you can also follow the opaque sections on either side. Being actually on it, you could not help but let out a wow when beholding the panoramic view of the canyon and the abyss beneath your feet. Note that Bungee jumping, sightseeing elevator, zipline, and lake cruise are not included in the entrance charge of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and tours.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park

After a short break at noon, let's set out to visit Tianmen Mountain. Accompanied by the tour guide, you will admire the most celebrated Tianmen Cave (Heaven's Gate), take the round-trip sightseeing ropeway, and experience the thrilling Glass Skywalk (shoe cover expense on your own) and the 7-level escalator. It will bring you the double enjoyment of excitement and beauty. After the tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel.
