+ flexible change of booking date due to bad weather + nice, flexible and caring staff at the campsite - no provision of vegetarian food although it was confirmed twice (lunchbox) - no provision of maps to find the right way / it was told there is only one way but there are a few crossroads to take with insufficient signage - The campsite is almost impossible to find as there are absolutely no signs. We only found the campsite with the help of a random local guide (the video provided is useless as you have no mobile coverage and we didn't know how to find the bridge) - the campsite was not informed of our arrival/postponement but they were super helpful and flexible Basically, apart from the very poor preparation it was a very nice experience. But when I pay that much money, I expect a first class service and no stress as it happened on the first day. Otherwise, I could have bought a tent for that money and camped at the free campsite nearby.

Transportation was easy to find. We got two packed lunches with plenty of food and dropped off at Rio Eléctrico which is a huge advantage because you save yourself an uphill climb from el chalten. Previous reviews made me nervous about finding the trails so I downloaded the trail on All Trails which is accurate. We had perfect weather so we would have been fine without the trail downloaded. Sometimes the trail branches but it all comes back together anyways. To find the camp, the guide explained what sign to look for so make sure you understand that! The host at the camp was so sweet and accommodating. He made us a three course dinner with a glass of wine, booted up his wifi connection to check the weather for us, and also made us breakfast with hot coffee. We went up the Fitz Roy/Laguna de los Tres on the first day because of the weather forecast. So Day 2 for us was a late morning start and a an easy steady hike to see Cerro Torre and make it back to El Chalten by 4:30. Overall it was exactly what we wanted!

Amazing experience! Very well organised with nice lunches and dinner provided. The whole trekking and lake is amazing (even though it the elevation to laguna de los tres might be a bit hard for absolute beginners)

This is an incredible experience! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Patagonia. BUT: This experience is available for less than half the price that is being quoted on Viator through other sites. If you do some internet searching, you can find it for less than $180 USD per person - as of Jan 2024. The experience in itself, as I said, was incredible. You are provided with everything you need so that you can focus on the beautiful scenery and the hike. The sleeping arrangements were great and Americano, the team member who took care of us while at the campsite, was amazing. Bottom line - 10/10 would recommend this experience, but don't book via Viator!

We had an incredible experience on this 2-day trek. It starts off a 30 min drive outside El Chalten where you hike the Pilar Trail to camp and then Laguna de los Tres the first day. The second day is an easy hike to Cerro Torre and back to El Chalten. We rated it a 4 because we are vegetarian and although the lunches were vegetarian they forgot at camp and dinner and breakfast were not. If you have dietary needs be sure to remind them at each step. Otherwise everything was fantastic and very well coordinated. Camp was comfortable and a lovely place to relax after the strenuous (but worth it!) climb to Laguna de los Tres. The rest of the hiking is easy-moderate but the views can’t be beat. Overall an unforgettable experience.

Me and my friend booked the tour, we are not an experienced hikers and we thought it will be an easier way to do an overnight tour. We couldn't be more wrong! They sent as a message with a video of entering to the camp, said we will get a map and also a radio, food for the first day and in the camp food for the second day. They sent us the travel agency adreess from where we depart. They said come 30 minutes earlier to ask questions and take equipment. In the first day the weather was rainy with possible snow, we asked in the office if it safe to go anyway, and the lady in the agency said 'yes sure'. Moreover the lady in the desk did not gave us no map and no explanations for the trek, no where the trail starts, no how the trail marked and which signs to look for. She also gave us two bags of poor food and said that actually this is for the whole 2 days. She didn't tell us who will meet us in capm and where. We almost thought not to go, which we truly regret we didn't. We took the shuttle which dropped us about 17 km from the city. It wasn't clear how to find the starting point, and actually we didn't find it, only with the help of other hikers who noticed we are starting to walk in a wrong direction to nowhere. They helped us to find our trail and told us which marks to follow (again the agency did not tell us any of that). We did not enjoy the roud, since we were too terrified from the situation, we walked for 4 hours completely alone with no other hikers around in our trail, probably because of the poor weather. Somehow we made it to the camp. The agency sent us a video of how to get to the camp, we did not find that roud we came in a different one and at first we thought that we might not actually in the correct place. In the camp we did not find anyone from the agency and no sign. We started to ask the other people there and no one knew. Also we realized that the camp is actually free, the other hikers saw the video of the roud and told us that we didn't find it because it is actually the roud from the opposite direction! (we came from El pilar and they sent us the roud from El Chalten). It start snowing, and the other hikers in camp said that if we are not sure who and when we meet it will be safer if we head back to El Chalten and not stay in camp. So we actually did not even had the overnight, we payed the price for a shuttle and two poor food bags, and really not a trek we could enjoy. And no one from the agency ever contacted us to ask why we were not in camp and to make sure we made it back safe, you know just as a human being not for the money. We took it because we are inexperienced hikers and we thought it will be a softer way to do an overnight trek. It really wasn't. If you are considering taking this, you are probably like us, then please don't. Just take the free poplar road from El Chalten and if you want to camp, do it yourself with a rented equipment. I really feel that we are lucky we made it back to El Chalten safe with the kindness of other hikers at the start of the trail and in the camp, not thanks to the organizers.

This was hands down one of the best tours I have ever had. A friend and I were very interested in seeing Fitz Roy which is what first drew us to this tour and it turned out to be so much more. We were provided a veteran guide (Louis: highly recommend requesting him) who was an expert resource on the flora, fauna, and general landscape. Our entire trip had sleeping accommodations, and cooked meals for dinner the nights we camped out. Overall brilliantly executed and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

While the visit to these beautiful places is all lunging (and we are not young, but if we have mountain training) those long and forced hikes in long kilometers of mountain climbs and descents are worth a hundred percent. The reward of beautiful nature is TOTAL! We also went up to the Los Condores Viewpoint.
