We definitely enjoyed the relaxing boat ride along the river. The main course of the food was quite good. We were looking forward to the narration along the way and expected to hear it over a PA system, but that was only available on the 3rd (open air) deck. Dining was on the 1st two decks and while one of us had ear buds with us, the others did not. That was a disappointment. The prepaid dining included the main course and a specific dessert selection. For an additional charge, appetizers and alternative desserts were available for purchase onboard. As a matter of principal, we did not make additional dining purchases. I expect that when I prepay for a lunch or dinner cruise, I’d receive the entire meal and not be nickel and dimed at mealtime.
