4.00It was fun. The restaurant associated with the tour had great pizza. It wasn't as much of a series of tunnels as the remaining area of the original tunnels under that building, but it was still fun. Katelyn did a great job.

2.00We wished our tour guide provided more details about the history of the tunnels. She was far too theatrical and awkwardly tried to make too many jokes. It was a little too cringy at times and we overall were pretty disappointed.

2.00I think Natasha was a great tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. For me, I felt like the experience was more of a history lesson instead of a haunting. Also, maybe I should have done a bit more research, but the beer tasting consisted of 2 different beer tryings, about 1/4 cup of each. So in total, you’re getting 1/2 cup of beer at a brewery. Would I do it again? No. But hey, it’s an experience

5.00Skippy was our tour guide and we had a blast! Super interesting facts and stories were shared. The beer and pizza were delicious. Make sure to grab a slice of pizza before your tour if you’re at the latest time because the kitchen will be closed when you’re done. Over all a fun, weird experience. A couple in the group got a little overwhelmed and had to leave but Skippy remained professional and helped them find the exit before continuing.
Get “crimped” in Portland.

5.00This tour covers more than ghosts of Portland; they don’t shy away from Portland’s history with the Shanghai tunnels and a practice called “crimping” that was part of the sailing industry back in the 1800s. It’s an incredibly interesting tour both above (and below) ground!

3.00The Shanghai tunnels tour is unique. It is difficult to know what is historically accurate. The tour is entertaining and the beer tastings were good options.

3.00Not really a ghost tour but a patchwork of stories not really related to each other. The tunnel was not authentic, props were placed in the tunnel and some unrelated to any story told. The beer sampling and pint were very good and a nice finishing touch.

5.00We had a great experience! Our tour guide was very informed and did a great job of managing our expectations when it came to lighting and air in the cellar and tunnels. I'm a little disheartened reading some of the more negative reviews as it seems people didn't read or listen to the full description. It is a historical and spooky guide and we had such a great time that we are planning on coming back next year and taking the tour with friends as well. Please make sure that you are aware of the conditions that you are coming in to, it will be dimly lit and the beer tasting takes place at the end of the tour in the tunnels. We had a wonderful time and will be back! Also, the pizza is delish!!
