5.00Sue was a great guide! The tour had the perfect mix of scary stories, interesting history, and beer! Sue does a great job of humanizing the folks who make up the scary stories, so youre reminded that this is real history to learn from not just urban legends. If you have a chance, grab a slice of pizza from old town pizza after the tour! The spinach salad is also delicious!

5.00You learn a bit about the history of the area and then go through the underground area where the tunnels are. This is more a mystery and history tour, than a drinking tour. You get a couple of taste underground at the end and a pint once at the bar once you end the tour.

5.00Learning the old hidden history of Portland was beyond anything I could have imagined! Historical and creepy! Our tour guide was phenomenal - personal, friendly, answered questions and gave such a great tour! (I can’t remember her name but she was from California and worked on the Queen Mary!) would suggest to any local and visitor that this is a must do! Thank you.

5.00Doug, the tour guide really makes this tour exceptional. His knowledge of history and story telling capabilities deserves applause. My husband and I highly recommend the Shanghai tunnel tour. A quick caveat about the stairs, there are a lot of steep stairs. Keep this in mind. Loved the entire experience. Please give Doug a sizeable tip at the end of the tour. Thanks Doug for a great tour!!
