Sail on a special river, in the heart of the first demarcated wine region in the world, and a UNESCO heritage site.

We start in Pinhão, passing under the Eiffel iron bridge, sailing up the river to the Roncão area, returning to Pinhão.

You will see terraced vineyards right down to the river, in a landscape without national roads or road traffic.

Although the section of river on the way back is the same, it could very well be different, as when seen from another direction it creates completely different views and landscapes.

Traditional Rabelo boats have open and closed areas, allowing comfortable navigation at any time of year and weather.

Interesting to admire vineyards over the water - experience to be completed by a visit of the region from the miradouros to see the grandiose panoramas from “top”
Nice walk, peaceful along the coasts if however the other passengers respect the calm of the water.

Easy to park in mid season anyway. Departure near the bridge. Little paved road along the Pinaho Bridge

It was a beautiful trip! We thought we would get some information about the Douro Valley during the trip, but it turned out that we should have asked for the audio app ourselves. Unfortunately there was a family with children on the boat running back and forth and making noise, which was a shame. Other than that, we enjoyed it.
