In all our activities, the well-being of our animals is always the most important thing. Our farm is located next to the traditional frontman's house, where the dog handlers live and take care of them. In connection with the farm, there are also customer rooms in a hut, where you can hear about our dogs with hot juice while the dogs keep you company. We do not limit the number of photos and have invested in ensuring that our customers have time to scratch and take pictures of the dogs.

What To Expect
Pyha-Luosto National Park
You will see these magnificent fell area from the husky sledge. We will not drive in the national park, but you will see the fell area.
Come with us in our own private husky farm. Have 30 minutes (5km) safari and meet the dogs. Our husky farm is middle in the woods, next to the Pyhä-luosto national park and the fell area. What you can see when you are in the safari. First we will give you good driving instructions and you will learn the secrets of Husky mushing. Then we will ride the sledge of 6 huskies. Enjoy the fun sledge ride with Huskies in the wilderness! In the safari two persons or one family can share one husky team. One adult can start mushing the team after good riding instructions and others will sit in the sledge. In the half-point adults can change places, but it is voluntary. After safari hear storytelling about the adorable Husky dogs, while enjoying steaming berry juice in a cosy hut. The guided tour is family-friendly. You will have enough time to enjoy company of the dogs and take lot of pictures with an about the. If you are lucky you can even meet our farms puppies.

Misleading, unorganised, overpriced

1.00As a family we were expecting this to be the highlight of our events. It was the worst activity we all had experienced. It's disgraceful they can charge the prices they do. Of the 1.5 hours advertised, you may experience 20 mins on the sleigh. The remainder of the time is drinking berry juice and dragging out the session to fill time, the husky farm is viewing a couple of dogs crying in cages. The guides were not friendly and the time we got to the sledges we wanted to leave, if it wasn't for the cost and the hour we wasted there, we would have left. We then sit and wait with further delays in freezing temperatures and listen to the dogs crying. One dog pulling us was constantly cowering and had its tail between its legs. We felt sad for the dogs. During our ride our sledge overturned twice and I was dragged a short distance under the sledge and left with bruises. The dog strap snapped once, then they stop for photos, except it dark and freezing cold. There was no follow up on injuries but we couldn't leave the place quick enough. We hope the business is shut down.

5.00Beautiful experience that we had with the whole family and that I recommend. The sleigh ride pulled by our 4-legged friends in the middle of the woods was very nice and fun. The competent and attentive staff that follows you and explains how to face the whole route safely and quietly. At the end of the tour visit to the center with explanation on activities and type and characteristics of dogs and visit to the structure.

5.00Yes I am suffering of Lapland blues after coming back. We had the most amazing holidays at Luckyranch. The experience with Kairankutsu were very autentic, thanks to Eero for a wonderful workskop for fotographing auroras, a night at the fire, you made me take amazing fotos. . 5.00I had a wonderful experience with my wife with Kairankutsu Oy. Sadly our tour was cancelled due to warm weather, the company said that because it was too warm the dogs weren't allow to run to protect them from the weather condition. You can see they really care about the well being of the huskies, which we really appreciate. But even though the tour was cancelled, Kriistina from Kairankutsu Oy was able to book a substitute tour so we don't miss the opportunity to enjoy experience, our flight back home was approaching and we didn't have enough time to wait for the reschedule of the tour so, Kriistina went beyond and above to accommodate us into another tour and it was amazing. We really thanks Kriistina for her help. We def gonna go back with them for future tours.

5.00We also did the Ice Fishing excursion. The guides were outstanding; they were welcoming and knowledgable but not overbearing. We were collected for both and each time they were prompt. Would absolutely recommend. We are hoping to return.
