Here you will get to interact and learn about these amazing cats and their conservation struggles in Africa. Also see and interact with other wild cats such as serval, caracal and African wild cats. After this once and a lifetime experience make your way across to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve for your Big 5 safari! You will spend the next 2 days driving around the reserve on game drives searching for animals, birds and general wildlife, with your highly experienced wildlife guide on hand to unlock the wonders of nature! Enjoy comfortable and unique accommodation in the Park camps, with meals under the stars at night and hot brunches in the bush in the morning. Game drives will take place early morning and late afternoon, the best and most productive time to find the big game animals, with a special night safari with the Park rangers included. After brunch on the third day the tour makes its way across to the coastline and the unique town of St. Lucia, the only town in the world to be completely surrounded by a national park. After checking into your lodge take a sunset boat cruise on the estuary where sightings of hippos are guaranteed, as well as crocs and a whole host of birdlife! Dinner is out in this spectacular little town, where it is not uncommon to have hippos taking a leisurely stroll down main street! Dinner is for your own account, the only meal not included. Then it is off to bed for a well earned rest. The following morning we have breakfast at the lodge and then check out and head for the iSimangaliso Wetland Reserve. Spend the day exploring the reserve, ending at Cape Vidal beach an unspoiled paradise. Here you will have a picnic lunch, but watch your food carefully or else the monkeys will be the ones with the full tummies, not you! Then exit the reserve and make your way back to Durban after a truly exhilarating wildlife experience.

We found Endless Summers when looking for a company that would allow us to actually stay in the parks rather than drive an our or more just to get there. It was more than we had expected! Wade was our guide and he was wonderful! Pick up at the airport, driver, tour guide, chef, he did it all with a smile and was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw countless animals including the rhino and African wild dog pack. I would highly recommend Endless Summers for any personalized tour of South Africa. It made our trip!

Our group of five did the 4 day, 3 night Hluhluwe Imfolozi – St. Lucia tour with Endless Summer and had a fantastic time seeing a wide array of animals – many of them up close and personal. If I could give this experience 10 stars I would, because it was that amazing – an awesome life changing experience. Everything was smooth and professional from pickup at our Durban Hotel to drop off at that same hotel 3 dàys later. This was at the end of a 2-week South Africa visit that included trips to 3 cities and several day and night safari drives and activities. Owner Rhys Scott-Dawkins and his fellow guide Matthew were knowledgable, personable, caring, accommodating and awesome cooks. It was a “private” adventure. We were the only ones in the van and it was so much nicer than being crammed in a bus with strangers. Hiring a company like Endless Summer is so much easier and less stressful than trying to map out an itinerary and go on your own. They hired sub contractor guides for most of the excursions...and these folks except for one woman (who worked for the reserve, did a night drive and was truly incompetent) were experts. Actually staying in the huge wildlife reserve, the oldest in Africa, was the best part of the trip. Accommodations were far from fancy, but being in the bush dis-connected from distractions of tv, internet and cel phones, was worth the trade-off. Seeing an elephant on the pathway in front of the house and having warthogs and a herd of Nyala visit our back yard at sundown was exciting and made for great photo opps. Early morning – 5-6 a.m. and night are the best times to see animals out and about. The self catering house (that may be as old as the reserve...lol) was 3 bedrooms of twin beds with a large fully equipped kitchen and outdoor patio. The guys stocked up on food, snacks, water, drinks and cooked for us...they also did a few awesome Braai's (barbecues) and picnics at scenic spots. They stayed in a modern tent down the road. The reserve was on a generator that shut down from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. I said in the beginning this excursion was life changing. Why? I could write a book on how magical it was..but in short, seeing so many animals and bird species and hearing their sounds gave me a new appreciation of life and the peacefulness of the bush. I have never seen such beauty in both natural landscapes and the wildlife. It was calming to watch elephant, giraff, zebra, hippo, rhino, hyena, warthog, bushpig, lion, etc. in their own environment roaming free. I highly recommend Endless Summer.

I recently went a tour of the game reserves with Endless Summer and it was incredible. Our guide was so knowledgable, friendly and accomodating. We felt completely safe at all times and the food was amazing. They created a bespoke and unique surf tour for us after our Big-5 tour and we visited Scottburgh, the Transkei and Jeffries bay. I caught some of the best waves of my life. Can definately reccomend Endless Summer to provide a wonderful, safe and unique experience anywhere is South Africa.

Amazing trip, hippo cruise was fun, boys enjoyed getting up close and the river sunset cruise was worth it. Saw so many elephants but unfortunately we didn’t get to see any big cats but what an amazing holiday.

My son and his wife, a good friend and I went on safari with Steve Morris from Endless Safari Tours in October of 2018 to Hluhluwe, iMfolozi, St. Lucia and Cape Vidal. I can emphatically state that every single aspect of the experience exceeded all of our expectations. From the lavish lodging to the incredible animals we saw, from the delicious food and the wealth of information shared by Steve, I cannot recommend this company enough. This was the best of the best. The pricing and communication with Rhys-Scot-Dawkins was fabulous. What are you waiting for? A once in a lifetime adventure awaits you.

I went on a 2 night, 3 day trip to Hluhluwe Imfolozi from Durban with my husband last week. I want to thank Anthony for the extraordinary time we had - we enjoyed every minute and you made it a very special adventure of a lifetime. I had always wanted to go on safari but didn't know what it would be like - well, I was not disappointed. It is truly wonderful. We saw so many animals up close and personal. The family of elephants of course trumped it all for me! The trip was organised by Anthony and nothing was too much - his constant care, attention and generous spirit was much appreciated. We stayed in wonderful places, organised by him, which were right in the park - just what we wanted. Anthony shared his wide knowledge of wildlife, culture, history with us throughout and we greatly enjoyed his company and cooking! We lived our dream thanks to him and Endless Summers. I would recommend you look no further for a Guide /organisers - you won't regret it. We hope to go back and are sure to put our trust in Anthony and the guys there again. Thank you Anthony!

We travelled to South Africa in July 2017 - two adults and our four children, two of whom were very small. Endless Summer Tours accommodated our family wonderfully, put up with two small crying babies and not once did we feel that they found it hard work. A really big thank you to Rhys and Wade as our guides; and to Anthony for sorting out and answering the endless queries via email and phone before we arrived. I can highly recommend Endless Summer Tours!

We had a lovely 4 days in a group of 4 adult friends and two children, ages 7 and 1 year. We had some concern at the beginning about how it would work with the children, but it was a great fit. Pick up, care, travel... all great. For us it was the first multi-day trip with guide, gladly again!

We have had a wonderful time with Steve from Dec 26 to Dec 29. Collected in Durban we have visited first Wetland park and surprised elephants on the road. Then hippos in St Lucia. The 3 next days were dedicated to hluhluwe and imfolozi parks. Amazing landscapes, animals spotted in their daily activities with the help of Adam, our ranger. Steve was always of good advice and a very good cook. We will remember this experience for long, thank you guys !
