This forest is known with many names: Arrrmelat Forest, Forest Leglawi or Forest Perdicaris (referring to Perdicaris incident), kidnapping of the American wealthy Perdicaris on 18 May 1904 by Mulai Ahmed Raisuli.

5.00This was a small group tour. There were 6 of us I was contacted a couple weeks early to find out what I was interested in doing. This was good so that the guide knew what our interests were. Our guide was a very experienced and knowledgeable guide. He took us to all the key sites and I was happy we were able to skip the super touristy caves. This gave us more time to shop a little at the end. But note this isn’t a shopping tour so if you want something specific let them know and they’ll take you to a reputable place. (You still need to bargain, but you won’t be totally taken) Note! We stopped at a typical Cafe for tea but if you want to eat lunch along the way let them know. We powered through and went back to our ship to eat.

5.00Great tour. We never would have seen or understood most of what we saw if it wasn’t for Hazma’s knowledge. He tailored the tour to what we were interested in and helped us navigate the markets. He also gave us a bonus walking tour that was one of the best parts of the trip. There was great communication before the trip and we organized our airport transfer with him and Kareem as well. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00I highly recommend Tangier Patito Tours. Tangier, Morocco was a stop for us on our Celebrity Cruise. I typically avoid the cruise ship excursions because they are too crowded. I booked this private tour of Tangier through Viator, and I am so glad that we chose this route for our first experience in Tangier. Karim was the best tour guide we could have ever hoped for and Abdul was an amazing driver! Karim reached out to me ahead of time and clearly communicated all the details that I needed to know prior to our arrival at the Tangier port. We were picked up and dropped off steps away from the cruise ship, and we never felt at risk of missing the ship's departure time. Karim was conscious of our time, curated the tour specifically for us, and ensured we packed as much as we wanted to into our guided tour. In addition to touring the city and shopping, we were able to enjoy an authentic Moroccan breakfast (which was absolutely delicious) and camel rides on the beach. We had an amazing time with Karim learning the culture of Morocco and their local traditions. Karim welcomed us like family, was patient with us, answered all of our questions, and created a memorable experience that we will never forget. Thank you to Karim and Abdul for providing us with the opportunity to create spectacular memories in Tangier!

5.00Hamza our guide provided us with a detailed history of Tangier. He took us through various areas and locations and gave us lots of opportunity to take photos. The camel ride was a fun experience and I loved our walk through and tastings in the Markets. Thank you Hamza for a wonderful morning.

5.00The tour was great and as advertised. The organizer, Karim, was diligent and very detailed oriented. He even went out of his way to make sure the four of us had a private tour experience. My friends thought it was the best tour of our cruise experience. Our tour guide, Hamza, was friendly, warm, very knowledgeable and experienced. I would encourage anyone to partake in the lunch. The restaurant Hamza took us to had phenomenal food. I would highly recommend this tour and tour group when in Tangier.

5.00Karim was our guide and what a jewel he is!! He showed us around and gave us all kinds of info that only a local would know. Everything he arranged for us went so smoothly, from the pickup in a spotless van to drop off. Patito Tours has clearance from the port authority to drive onto the pier and meet his clients ship side. His English is wonderful and you can tell when people see him, they love him. We called him the mayor of Tangier by the time we were done with our tour. What a welcoming country and an excellent tour! Also, thanks to Abdullah the driver for his calm demeanor and wonderful driving skills!!

5.00We had the most amazing day with our private guide Abu!! He picked us up in a beautiful car and took us to all the major sights ending up at the Medina and casbah. Made it so easy to get around without getting lost which would be easy to do and took us wherever we wanted to go and showed us sights we asked about specifically… just an amazing experience overall. Lunch wasn’t included but we wanted to eat and he took us to an amazing restaurant and waited for us so he could take us back to our ship… so our tour went over the allotted time but he had no issue with it. A great guide and a fantastic tour of Tangier!

5.00The four of us had an incredible tour with Karim and his driver Abdul today. He was a wealth of information on everything we wanted such as culture and history. We loved the camel rides. The walk through the shops, the fort, the lighthouse, everything was PERFECT. His easy manner and kind heart made every stop special as so many other people went out of their way to come say hi to Karim. Clearly a very good guide. In the dozens of countries I have visited with a private tour, I would say Karim was one of the very best. Thank you, Karim. We loved our time together.
